"Everything was top-notch from the first contact with Mr. Hamilton through the entire cleaning process. We were considering having new carpet installed but wanted to try having the carpet cleaned to see if it could be restored to a nearly new look. After using Act One, our carpet, which is over 5 years old and has gone through lots of kid and pet accidents, looks basically new. So much less expensive and time-consuming than buying new carpet. Additionally, Mr. Hamilton was pleasant to deal with throughout the process, was always prompt and courteous, and was flexible with scheduling. I would highly recommend calling Act One before you consider replacing carpet or rugs."

"I contacted John Kanellis to repair a leaking shower pan. As it turned out, the entire shower needed to be taken out and reconstructed from the ground up. Before he started, he papered my hardwood floors, put plastic over my carpet, and taped the seams for the doors in the bathroom to make sure that everything was kept as clean as possible. I had mentioned to him that I would like to eventually have a glass door installed and because of this, prior to installing everything, he made sure to reinforce the studs in the opening of the shower so that there would be enough support to hold a custom glass door. Once he got started reinstalling everything, he was meticulous in his process and cleaned up after himself every day before leaving. When he completed the shower, he left my bathroom cleaner than I clean it! The shower that he created for me was perfect and well exceeded my expectations. He was prompt, professional and is truly an artist in his craft. As someone else said, if he is busy, he is well worth the wait. I will use him for any and all future tile projects in my home."

"Overall, I was very satisfied with Premier Surfaces. Lindsey was my project manager / sales associate. She met my wife and I on a Saturday morning as a special appointment (they do not have regular hours on Saturday, appointment only). I had gotten another quote from a different Granite installer that was slightly higher and they only allow you to see their slabs during the week, which is an inconvenience for me. Lindsey was very nice to us, and she answered all our questions. I felt like she went above and beyond for our whole buying experience. We picked a slab, setup a measurement appointment (really early in the morning during the week, like 7 am or earlier). The measurement appointment was on time and took a reasonable amount of time (maybe 30 minutes). My only disappointment with Premier surfaces is they sold me on their SlabSmith program which supposedly allows you to see how your countertops will look upon installation. I took this to mean it would take a photo of my kitchen, and show me exactly what it would look like in a 3d image. The reality is that it shows you a plan view (from above) of what your countertops will look like, and we chose a black granite which had minimal color variation, so it looked like a few black boxes. Lindsey sent me another version of it that had a grainier granite and it still wasn't what I expected (3d), but I could see how it could be helpful for some folks. I just didn't think it was that big of a deal. For the installation, it was relatively easy to schedule, they were supposed to be at our house at 3:15 and they were about 1 hour late, the 4 hour installation time took about 3.5 hours, and ultimately it resulted in a beautiful end product. So I think there's some room for improvement, but I still would use them again without hesitation. See photos below for before and after (also had floors done) and the photos of the Slabsmith."

"I cannot praise David McCormick and his crew enough. Our kitchen was a total tear down. The custom cabinets are absolutely gorgeous. The hand-laid wood floor is just perfect. Ditto the granite. David had some very good ideas that we implemented (like a beverage center). The new walk-in shower is also gorgeous. The craftsmanship of all the crew is superb. The one thing, especially, that makes The Renovation Crew different is that you don't pay them a dime until all the work is done to your satisfaction. I was stunned when David told us that. A refreshing change from most contractors. The prices were very, very reasonable. I've had a couple friends see our new kitchen and both of them had just one word... "Wow!". I would highly recommend The Renovation Crew. <br />"

"The original re-tile job was complicated when wood rot was found underneath the old tile requiring replacement. Also the original plumbing had issues that required re-work. Fortunately he was able to do all of the additional work at a very reasonable rate. I definitely feel like I got my money's worth out this remodel."

"The company had the flooring that I wanted in stock. They provided samples, pictures, and a lot of useful info to help me decide on the flooring and to help in talking to installers about how to best install and finish the flooring, though they did not refer me to any local installers. Once we decided on an installer and were ready to go, we had a fairly tight timeline, which we made clear. The purchase process was easy, but unfortunately our flooring was not picked up at the warehouse on schedule for two days running, and no one notified us -- I had to call the company and get my contact to look into what was happening with our order. They provided a couple of options, and fortunately my installer was able to pick up the flooring at a local terminal, instead of us loosing several days of acclimation time over a long holiday weekend when no deliveries would be made. A lot of calls and emails were exchanged, but they did stay on top of things this time and made sure we got our flooring. The flooring was beautiful, excellent quality and very dry so that the needed acclimation time was minimized. Our installer was very happy with the quality also and the floors look amazing. While the material was not inexpensive by any means, we feel that is was really worth the investment in our home, and would be surprised if anyone else would have supplied as high a quality product for a lower price. Moreover, though it did take some time on my part, basically acting as a GC, finding and hiring an installer, materials, and making sure the material got to us, based on an initial quote we got, we believe we saved at least 25% of the total project over contracting with a local installer to handle everything."
