I presented a problem which Dave was able to remedy quickly! The idea he had was genius and it is perfect! Takedown and removal both went great and they left me with just my beautiful new deck!!! "Grant and Chris are fabulous. They should have 6-7 stars, honestly. Excellent communication! They came when they said they’d be here, did excellent and thorough work, took it in stride when I added tasks to the job, gave me a fair price for their work, and were very cautious about cleaning up and taking care when coming in and out and walking through the house. They are also highly skilled and well-rounded. They handled a leak, roofing, deck replacement, fixing siding, securing railing, trimmimg and cutting a wall, setting in cabinets, wall repair, paint, repairing tile and vinyl plank floor and moving an electrical outlet. Other estimates I had for the same jobs insisted I’d need a roofer and electrician in addition to the carpentry and general wall work. These two did it all. They were efficient with their time but never rushed. They took the time for each task that was required. On top of that, they are just really good guys with pleasant and easy-to-be-around energy. They will be my go-to duo for the other projects on my list when my budget allows. I would trust them with any project for my home. So very glad I found them. Highly, highly, highly recommend."

"Ken totally exceeded our expectations in terms of quality and timeliness of the work we hired him to do. He not only did a fantastic paint job, he was very polite and a thorough gentleman. 
His conduct was very professional in terms of keeping his commitment to finish the job on time, showing up each day on time, taking care of smallest detail and, above all, keeping a high standard to judge his own work. We call it KEN PERFECTION. He took great precaution to protect all our belongings/ furniture/ areas while painting. At the end of every day he would meticulously vacuum/ clean any/ all affected areas. 
He was so good that we even asked him to do additional job for us to stain/ paint our deck and put a new epoxy garage flooring which he again did it with Ken Perfection!! He completed all of our work at quite reasonable price. We have dealt with multiple contractors to do different jobs at home and we can say with experience that people like Ken are rare to find and once found they are to keep forever. "THE GOOD   The interview went very well. I had a list of questions as to how the work would be performed and Mike answered the questions with confidence in every part of the job. After talking to him I felt comfortable believing the job would be done correctly.  We talked about materials and agreed on a price that was comparable to other bids. I told him I was not in a hurry. A different contractor said it would be 6 weeks so I guess in my mind I thought work would start in about that time frame. To be fair, Mike never gave me a start date.  This all happened in the middle of May.
 THE BAD   It took a week before we picked shingle brand and color and I paid an $8000 payment. 2 large pallets of materials arrived in the first week of June. The next communication with Mike was the last week of June with him saying the weather had slowed him down.The next contact was the middle of July. Mike said it would be a little longer. I contacted him again at the end of August and he said he was heading my way soon. I contacted him middle of Sept. and was told 2 weeks weather permitting. After 2 weeks Mike texted me saying it would be longer.  I replied with concerns about the material being on pallets in my yard for 4 months and gave him 3 weeks to start work or refund my payment minus material costs. He replied he had the permit and would start work the first week of Oct. Dumpster arrived on a Monday 8 days later. Some wood was dropped off on Friday. Work started the next Friday.
 MORE GOOD   Once the crew was here they did a great job. They protected my and the neighbors house during tear off and cleaned up every day. After tear off we discovered the addition roof tie in needed to be corrected which was outside the original bid. Mike rebuilt that and it looks and functions great. He did a lot of extras like disposing of some junk I had and putting some bolts in the front porch for a swing. He also partially roofed the playhouse to match the house(untill he ran out of shingles).I was very happy with the work.
MORE BAD  A week later I requested a paid in full invoice for taxes and the playhouse roof to be finished and Mike said he would take care of it.
It's been 7 weeks and still no invoice or finished roof on the playhouse.
FINAL WORD   If you want a quality job and have no time pressure then I recommend Mike. This was a 2 1/2 story hip roof and was not an easy job and took over 7 days to complete. That may have figured in to to delay. All in all it's been a roller coaster ride. He probably would have gotten here sooner if his Angies list A rating (and rightfully so in most cases) wouldn't have increased his business so much.

I wasn't sure this would end up to be a good idea but, it turned out a very pleasant experience. They did it all from start to finish. They spent the first day and a half gathering the trash and debris left by the tenants. They must have pulled four trailers worth of mess out to the dump. Then they went through the whole place; removing nails from the walls, doing the patchwork on the plaster and lathe (where we wanted it repaired and pulled out where we wanted drywall replaced), sanding all the spots and removing the mess. Then they started in with the heavy repairs in the putting in a couple of windows and hanging the drywall where needed, they taped off all the walls, fixtures and windows to ready it for paint. After painting and waiting for it to dry; then they started outside clearing out the brush and debris left behind. They also worked to dress up the yard with great ideas like window boxes and fresh flowers! . They did all the paint work inside the house and finished up by touching up the outside paint. They went back through the house last time and shampooed the carpets, cleaned the stove and fridge, and put fresh new chalk in all the needed spots. I know I may not have all the right terminology but, these folks Really saved the day! When they left the place was spotless and the time and money we spent was well worth giving up the headache of that mess to someone else and finding they'd done a great job! Wonderful!"
