"We had a great experience with NorthStar Moving Company when we moved from Los Angeles to another city 90 miles away. Due to the COVID-19 situation, we got our estimate via a video call (which was our request). I was satisfied that we were getting a good price with a professional company. I had many calls with Ron prior to the call to discuss the details of the upcoming move and he was always very honest and fair with me. On the morning of the move, the 4 man team arrived on time, and they all wore masks which we had requested. The team leader, Emmanuel, was so accommodating and polite. All the guys worked hard and were very careful with our things. We really appreciated their efforts and the fact that none of our belongings were damaged in the move. "I called several large and small moving companies before I found Hire a Helper and the others were are either unwilling to help me or just plain didn t call me back. We had a large kiln (about900lbs) that had been delivered to us but not put place. I found Hire a Helper and within a week I had a crew out to my house with a pallet jack, ready and able to pull the kiln out my my carport and into my shed. The crew was friendly and professional, they even removed the bracing 2x4s packing the kiln for us The price was a bit higher than expected but considering the speed & efficiency with which they did the job - and the fact that I had no other way to move this behemoth- it was well worth it!"
