"Mottern did a fantastic job designing and installing a large flagstone-on-concrete patio for us. The work included excavating and leveling the site, pouring and re-enforcing the slab, and selecting and purchasing the stone, brick and other materials. In addition to the patio, Mottern also filled in an approx. 12 sq/ft section of brick wall where a door had been converted to a window. The filled-in brick and mortar matches the original 50-year old wall perfectly. Overall, the entire Mottern crew was prompt, responsive, professional, and very skillful. We would definitely use Mottern again."

Mr. Sanchez and his crew did a great job of grinding out the old cement, stabilizing the stones where necessary and putting in new cement. The crew was efficient and polite. The job was finished on time and for a fair price, IMO. Before and after photos (of one small area) attached. [One note: The grinding out of the old cement created a signigicant amount of dust. much of which went into the adjacent garden. My wife was/is concerned this will affect the chemistry of the soil, thereby affecting the health of her plants. Just be aware.] Highly recommend."

"I am very pleased with this company. I reviewed four contractors and did not make my selection based on price. My driveway was an old concrete driveway that had been sinking for years. I replaced it with asphalt. I was more concerned with the installation than the price. Prices ranged from 3,900 to 6,600. My cost was $5,800. All contractors stated the same install method except for George. 4 inches of crushed stone and 3 inches of Asphalt. Since my driveway was sinking he knew that the 4 inch stone base would not last. Sure enough after removing the concrete their was not any stone at all under my old driveway. He installed 10 tons of heavy stone followed by 13 tons of crushed stone with a concrete mix. All packed down with a 10 ton vibrating machine. This driveway will last 20 years. Work was completed in 2 days, the men were all professional and courteous. I highly recommend this company."
