"My experience with Jim the Handyman was great from start to finish. They responded to my initial inquiry promptly, sent someone to thoroughly assess the necessary work, and then met and exceeded my expectations when completing the work. I needed several repairs to set of French doors. One company wanted to replace the entire door set for $3500. Jim the Handyman did only the necessary work for $285. I appreciated not only the quality of the work, but the honesty about what was required. I'll now use Jim the Handyman for a variety of projects around the house when they come up. Kudos!"

"I am extremely pleased with the work provided. Mike arrived on time, was able to perform each task that I requested, is professional, pleasant and very competent. He fixed a door that two other handyman had told me to replace instead. He worked quickly and was extremely neat - vacuuming up and making sure that no dust was left in the area of the repairs, taking away all trash, etc. Mike is a thorough professional and I would call him again for any future repairs."

"Everything went great!  It all started when we tried to replace a 30 year old shower door.  When the door was removed, the tiles in the opening were a mess.  The provider directed me to a tile show room were they were able to match existing tiles with better ones for attaching the new shower door.  They came to remove the old tiles and install the new ones quickly and the result was beautiful and seamless.  I am thrilled with their work.

"Tomas M from JW did a great job. Needed replacement for part of the frame of front door. He did a fantastic job in matching the replacement panel to the rest of door. He also painted the entire frame and replaced some additional wood that we damaged at top of frame and caulked it all. Also had a basement door frame sanded and repainted. He was very good at keeping me informed of the process."

"We contracted with Vazquez and Son to paint an apartment unit and complete a list of repairs and other items after a tenant move-out.  We have to agree with other Angie’s List reviewers that their costs seemed a bit high particularly when we realized the quote was for labor only. However, because of the positive Angie’s List comments and because they were able to begin within a few days, we proceeded.  We did receive an Angie’s List discount.  Luis and his crew were very friendly, responsive, punctual, polite, and they completed the work ahead of schedule.  Overall, we were satisfied with their work."

"Quick response for quote. Showed up on time and did excellent work repairing the subfloor in my kitchen. Will definitely use his service again!"

"I could not be more satisifed or impressed by this young man! I hired Dickens from afar to convert a standard bath tub to a walk-in shower for my elderly parents. I live in Arizona and my parents are in Leesburg. My father is in his late eighties and can no longer easily access the current combination shower/tub as it requires stepping up over the tub and his balance is unsteady at best. Prior to meeting with Dickens, my parents were quoted a price (4 X's) what I considered to be reasonable by a local and national bath remodeler so I decided to search the internet for highly rated contractors in the area and was blessed to find Dickens at HomeAdvisor. He completed the job last week and the quality of work exceeds every expectation my parents could have hoped for. The work was completed sooner than we expected and the price was more than fair. I highly, highly recommend using Home Concepts!"

"Excellent company, great communication and follow up. Crew did a phenomenal job retro fitting new doors without disturbing existing aluminum cladding on the exterior. All trash, debris and dust swept up, house was left better than they found it. Will gladly hire again in the future."
