When unexpected obstacles arose due to previous repair jobs that had been done in the bathroom, Israel brought them to our attention immediately and provided estimates for our approval before moving forward. The job was finished on time and looks fantastic.The team is VERY easy to work with, and Israel was highly responsive -- both during the job, and afterward. A few weeks after completion, I asked him to come address an issue with the shower door and he took care of it within a couple of days. "Scott and his crew did an amazing job. I am writing this one year after the job was completed, and we are still very happy with all aspects of the finished project. Scott was very responsible and responsive, and he was communicative. They showed up when they said they would and they did what they said they would do, and they did it well. We were pleased with them from start to finish. Very reasonably priced. Worked well with us, from easy discussions on the planning to modifications during the build-out. They took an unfinished cinder-block shell and turned it into a part of our home that is livable, functional, and beautiful, including a new rec room, laundry, in-law suite with kitchenette and bathroom, and bedroom, with all-new plumbing, electrical, tile, flooring, walls, and more. "We are extremely happy with the work done by Thomas Custom Builders (TCB). Overall they did an amazing and outstanding job! They had a contractor on site, on time every day. Brian S. was professional, helpful, patient, hard working and skilled both in managing subcontractors and doing work himself. I trusted him with our home and would work with Brian/TCB again easily. I have already recommended their company to others. TCB renovated a few parts of our house, added electricity to a shed and added an entire master bedroom suite on an additional floor (adding approximately 550 sqft to our house). They finished earlier than expected. Our neighbors couldn't believe how fast the addition was completed and how well done. Any additional costs from the original budget estimate were due to our choice to add more work. I waited to write a review. I wanted to live in the addition for a little while to see how everything holds up. We have had only minor things arise and have been very pleased with the responsiveness of Brian and TCB to come back out and check on things. They came back to add a bracket to a new countertop that moved slightly, they shaved a door that was sticking as the weather changed, they fixed the damage done when carpets were installed by another company, they arranged for a rep from the hot water heater company to come out and fix a noise issue, all done at no additional cost to us. I have worked with contractors before but nothing on this level. It wasn't perfect, there were concerns that came up. I had to learn that this was major construction and with major construction comes mess. Brian and his team addressed our concerns and remedied any issue fairly. With so many negative stories I've heard from people who worked with other companies, I am so very thankful that we had such a good experience and ended up with such an amazing master suite and changes to our home. We love it and we receive many compliments. We chose to work with TCB because they came highly recommended by a neighbor who had similar work done and were very satisfied with their outcome."

"I highly recommend City Renovations and Remodeling to new and experienced homeowners and investors. In fact, Mike Wiggs, owner of the company, was highly recommended to me from a trusted source. Mike has been my designer, general contractor and project manager for over three years. He and his team of subcontractors for all the trades and handymen have successfully completed numerous projects for me. The internal big jobs included Mike and his team remodeling my basement into a permitted apartment with an egress window, injection well system, and recessed lighting; remodeling my kitchen into a larger space, better layout and upgraded appliances, cabinets, backsplashes (e.g., switching from an electric cooktop island to a slide-in gas range and installing a peninsula); changing the location of the sliding door and a set of windows in my sunroom for better flow and sightline from the front door entry to the patio door leading to my wooded backyard; replacing the damaged one of the two HVAC systems (i.e., one for the first floor and basement and the other for the second floor); and whole house interior painting and decorative touches (accent walls, trim, etc.) The external big jobs included Mike and his team resolving the sources of severe water damage to my two-story front door entry area and installing a new door, side lites and stoop. He resolved other water problems at my house by installing upgraded, larger gutters connecting to a new underground drainage system, and re-grading a section of the backyard next to my house in order to better collect water coming onto the house and move it away from the house. The other jobs Mike and his team completed include installing decorative lighting in the front of my house and security lighting at the sides and back; installing and repairing wooden privacy fencing in my backyard; washing away years of mold, mildew and stains from the siding of my house; and installing shelving for two closets and the laundry room to increase my storage space. After years of City Renovations and Remodeling successfully improving or repairing my home, I hired the company to help me with an investment rental property. Mike completed a walk-thru assessment and report to supplement the information from the home inspector and appraiser. Through my pre-purchase consultation with Mike, I got a good idea of what it would take improve the property given my goals and budget. "Having Two Brothers remodel my second bathroom was the best experience I’ve had with any home improvement project I’ve undertaken. First of all, Ruben Euceda, the owner, listened to me. I pointed out problems in the layout of the tile in my first bathroom, and he avoided them all in laying the tile in the second bath. It looks wonderful. He always explained what he intended to do, asked for my input, and accommodated me when it was possible or told me why it wasn’t. If he overlooked a detail or made some miscalculation, he informed me and fixed the problem. He was polite and good-natured, with me and his employees; everyone involved seemed to like one another, making for a pleasant work environment.
