"We got a full roof replacement with On Top Roofing, and had an excellent experience! Tim and his team were very responsive. The office manager was really great about contacting me right back, getting us scheduled in for an estimate, keeping me updated on times for work. They also were able to get us in this season, even though they were fully booked. Super great since we had leaks and didn't want to go all winter with them. Tim did the estimate himself and the price was fair and within range of other quotes. We opted for a rubber roof on our back dormer. Rain delayed work getting done for a day, but they made sure the roof was watertight before rain set in, and came back to finish up the next day. "I have a slate roof and a rubber roof and had difficulty finding someone who could do a proper inspection with repairs. I stumbled upon Doherty Slate Roofing in Swampscott, MA. Several houses have slate roofs in our town. I have to say, he did an excellent job in repairing my rubber roof as well as the slate roof, which had missing slates and broken slates. Jason was spectacular. He also repaired the Boston Saddle hips and the flat copper roof. The work was done promptly, and the cleanup was very, very good. I am excited to write this review as we need people like Doherty to give us honest advice and understand this unique roof for repairs. Doherty took extreme care not to drop anything in the garden. The clean-up was excellent. I am ready for the winter and do not worry about leaks and ice damage from the missing slates."

Dave Harrison came to our house, walking us through all the steps and answering whatever questions we had. We felt very good about our decision. The roofing team arrived earlier this past week. "Loved James who came to do the estimate. He spent time educating me which I truly appreciate. Estimate done quickly, and reasonably priced. My only complaint is that 10 days after they had a signed contract I was still calling and asking for a tarp over the site of the leak as storm after storm caused leaking into my bedroom where despite having buckets to catch the rain it was still ruining my hardwood floors. I spoke and wrote emails to Melissa to ask for a tarp and either was told they “were too busy to come out”or did not even return my calls. Thankfully once I was able to bypass Melissa, Mr PJ Willard intervened and a tarp was up the next day and the roof done immediately after. Great work, completed quickly once started. I will never be sure if Melissa is solely responsible for decision making, or she is told to delay requests. Either way, sorry to say it was the only bad part of the job. Otherwise A plus."
