"We could not be more pleased with the master bathroom renovation performed by Dennis Delashmit and his PHI team. Renovation is stressful at the best of times, but having to make selections and have different individuals in your home while on COVID-19 shelter in place restrictions could be extremely trying. Dennis and his wife, Jean. assisted us with finding materials and even went to one large shop themselves to send us photos of options when it seemed that the tile we had picked might not be available. Dennis outlined the safety guidelines that everyone would follow, and his team was very compliant with the steps outlined. (Masks were worn whenever we had to be in the space where they were working, a dedicated service/work entrance was used, daily temperature checks performed)We were reassured by the skilled professionals that performed various aspects of the renovation. Dennis would always inform us of who would be working in our home the following day. Amazingly, work progress quite smoothly and was finished and the expected timeframe. If we requested adjustments or additional work, the request were handled in a very timely and professional fashion. We were so pleased with our newly remodeled and much more attractive master bathroom. The results are beautiful, and we would highly recommend PHI. They would be the first company we would consider for future work."

"Lar-Con construction did a fantastic job on our recent kitchen and half bath remodel. We couldn’t be happier with the results. Larry, the owner, was extremely easy to work with and offered helpful suggestions that made our plans a reality. He and his crew were always pleasant and professional. They let us know approximately what time they would arrive each day, and the focus of their work for the next day. They took care to keep the dust and construction materials confined to the work area. Larry spent a great deal of time explaining the difference between ready-made, semi-custom, and custom cabinets and how they might work in our kitchen. He suggested we might want to work with a custom cabinet maker to accommodate the odd angles in our kitchen. He suggested a reputable cabinet maker who did a fantastic job developing a workable plan for our kitchen. Larry worked closely with the cabinet maker coordinating installation of the cabinets and countertops. Larry and his crew took the time and effort to complete work as if they were working on their own home. When an unexpected sub-floor repair was necessitated due to a hidden water leak, the crew took it in stride and worked it into their schedule, replacing the sub-floor. They also went into the crawl space to inspect the floor joists for water damage, repaired and replaced them as needed, and even added an additional vent to the crawl space area to create cross ventilation. Larry worked with the contractor we had hired for flooring installation, and was on hand the day the flooring was installed, helping insure it was installed professionally. We felt comfortable enough with Larry and his crew that we were able to take an out of state trip while the work was in progress. While we were gone, Larry sent photos of the work they completed each day and responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had. We are so pleased with the quality of work completed and the work ethic demonstrated by the entire crew of Lar-Con Construction that we have already scheduled a master bath renovation."

"I hired West Georgia Design Build to remodel at my residence. In the master shower the floor did not drain properly due to Dwight installation errors. On the third attempt, the floor now drains properly, but a large portion of the tile is now lighter than the initial tile that was not repaired. In addition, there are grout coloration inconsistencies on the master shower flooring. We had discussed with Dwight that we did not want to see a difference in installation if he repaired only half of the floor. The grout in the master shower niche was mixed incorrectly by hired help when Dwight left the worksite. It was applied with poor craftsmanship and overlaps individual tiles resulting in a sloppy finished product. In the guest bath remodel, the plumbing was not installed correctly. This resulted in water leaking on the exterior and interior of the wall upon our first use. The water ran down inside the wall to the lower level of the house. We had to discontinue use of this shower to prevent water damage until Dwight came out to repair the issue. They did not take caution when moving materials during the remodel resulting in damage to hardwood floors and two walls. Final clean-up was not satisfactory as they left unused materials in the yard, including small pieces of tile and chunks of hardened grout. Stacy never came out to review the final product and is currently refusing to come and make things right. We’re very disappointed with the issues mentioned above. I wish I could report resolution, but cannot at this time."
