"I was feeling a bit stressed about moving items from my one bedroom apartment from a storage unit into my new place. But Mike put me at ease the moment he started talking. I was able to book a next day job for hundreds less than another quote I got. And the movers, Tyquan and Jordan, showed up in the time window promised and were courteous. And efficient too: they knocked out the loading in 30 minutes and the complete job was done in the time estimated and I paid exactly what I was quoted. I will DEFINITELY be using MJC Movers again for a future move. "

"We had a great experience today with Georgia Pack and Load Moving & Storage. The team showed on time, worked very efficiently and were exceptionally professional. With care, they move my furniture and home items, wrapped them to protect during transit and placed them in the desired location at the destination. Zero items were damaged. The team was respectful of my personal items and my home. Again, we had a great experience, and we could not recommend them more highly. 5 of 5 stars!!!"

FAQs for in-state moving service projects in Alpharetta, GA

Laws differ from state to state, but the number one rule is that you cannot move a mobile home on your own. You have to hire a licensed mobile home moving company. While each state is different, you’ll also have to research HUD codes, permits, and other laws specific to the area to ensure your move follows all necessary regulations.

Yes, a permit is required to move a mobile home. You must secure permits in the state of origin and in every state through which the mobile home passes. When moving across state boundaries, obtain a permit for each state. Your moving company assists in acquiring all required permits, ensuring strict compliance with local regulations during the entire relocation process.

No, you cannot move a mobile home built before 1976. Mobile homes constructed before 1976 do not meet current safety standards and must not be relocated. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development enforces strict guidelines that prevent moving older models. Verify the build year and comply with all HUD regulations to ensure safety and legal compliance.
