"It went great.  We had to wait for the weather to clear up, but when we got a nice window of weather the crew was there when they said they would be and finished earlier than I expected!  They did a great job.  The regrading of the yard has made it much easier to care for the lawn, the huge gaps between the pool and yard have been filled in and leveled out so that I don't get ponding of water on the pool deck and rain drains away from the pool now.  The sod has taken well and is growing in nicely.  The yard looks like a million bucks!"

You may be able to find a crew to do what Yard by Yard did for less money, but you get what you pay for. For us, it was worth every penny. We were late getting started, and understood that they were backed up. I knew that we should have gotten on their books earlier in the season, so we had no problem with the lag between contracting and the work done. They are a small firm with lots of work, but again, it was all worth the wait. The crew was unbelievably hard-working and cleaned up perfectly every day they worked. Real pros."

"Dominion Power had recently installed street lights in our street and dug up the front yard breaking the main pipe for the sprinkler system. AA Irrigation came out on time found the problem dug up the broken pipe and fixed it. One of the sprinkler heads out the back was not rotating properly and they replaced it. They found that one of the solenoid valves was permanently on and there was another leak in the backyard both of which were probably caused by the by the previous rocket scientist that winterized the system, they fixed both of these. I had recently laid sod on the patches of ground that Dominion had left barren and accidentally covered one of the sprinkler heads they carefully cut a hole in the grass to let the sprinkler function. They walked me through the programming of the system and made ithe system function like I wanted. They were very professional, thorough, and polite fellows, I will use them again.
