" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Workmanship & Quality Ace’s Asphalt recently paved my parking lot in West Sacramento, and I couldn’t be more impressed. I received three different bids, and while they came in right in the middle price-wise, the workmanship and quality were absolutely out of this world. Their crew was professional, efficient, and clearly took pride in their work. The finished product looks incredible — smooth, well-graded, and done right the first time. They paid attention to details that other contractors often overlook, and the job site was left clean and organized. This is a perfect example of getting far more value than what you pay for. If you’re looking for top-tier asphalt work in the West Sacramento area, Ace’s Asphalt is the company to call. Highly recommended. "

"We needed our driveway fixed at our new (older) house. Our neighbor mentioned she was having hers done after a recommendation by a mutual neighbor. We saw them estimating the neighbor and called the owner over. He reviewed our needs and had suggestions. We promptly got an estimate for each suggestion so we could choose the services. We ended up choosing work to fix areas where the driveway had collapsed on the sides and shoring up the collapsed culvert at the bottom of the drive. They showed up a morning the day before service was to start because they had asphalt left from another job to fill in our drive. We thought this was great. They followed up the next two mornings, arriving promptly if not a bit early. They are here now, and have done excellent work. It looks beautiful. They are doing our job and the next door neighbor's at the same time to reduce cost and add efficiency"

"Missed some of the cracks that I thought they would seal.  Owner came back and viewed the job and agreed to send the crew to seal more cracks.  Offered $50 discount for inconvienence.  Was very nice and agreed to come back in the spring to check the work to see if anything else needed to be done.  I was slightly disappointed in the job, but my driveway was in really bad condition.  So not the contractor's fault.  He did a good job for what he had to work with.  The lesson here is don't wait too long to fix cracks and seal your asphalt driveways. <br />"

"You call them and they deliver building materials. Their services are really great. When you call them they are really polite on phone. When they delivered the material, they miscalculated the amount. They called me and apologized for that. They are very honest. They called and credited me the amount. They are honest and courteous. The driver who comes to deliver the material is very good in navigating the truck and is very professional. I will use them probably this week.  "

FAQs for asphalt paving installation projects in Anderson, CA

Most driveways wrap up in roughly a week. Allow two to three days for installation, followed by an additional two to three days for the surface to cure. Concrete and asphalt follow this timeline, whereas a gravel job often finishes more quickly. Laying out the schedule upfront makes it easier to plan your week and your budget.

Sealer prevents water, salt, and UV rays from damaging the surface. Apply a fresh coat every one to three years, and you’ll slow down the growth of cracks, avoid pricey repairs, and keep the driveway looking sharp. A local professional can handle the job efficiently and ensure even coverage.

Material is the significant driver when it comes to the lifespan of a driveway. Asphalt stays strong for about 20 years, concrete lasts 30 to 40 years, and paver stones can last 50 to 100 years because you can swap out damaged bricks. With regular top-ups, a gravel drive can also reach the century mark. Knowing these timelines helps you map out long-term maintenance and replacement costs.

Repaving strips everything down and starts fresh, letting you change the layout or improve drainage before pouring new material. Resurfacing, on the other hand, adds a top layer over a solid base, giving you a facelift without the need for a complete demolition. Go with repaving when the base is failing; choose resurfacing when the structure is sound and you just need a new surface.
