"Excellent. The crew show up at 0700, by 0900 my driveway was totally stellar. The process was orchestrated by the organized foreman with effective supervision. Every gentleman that showed up had a specific role in the paving process. Very neat and clean. The asphalt bordered a front walkway, patio and BBQ area; all the lines where asphalt and concrete met were precisely jointed. Bravo to Irish Castle Paving."

Then requested half early, then full payment before done. When I said work incomplete, he asked "Don't you trust me?" then broke promises. Broken promises: Walkway cured wrong, no follow-up. $1,800 grading included 3-month landscaping - no communication. Promised debris cleanup, later said not responsible. Damaged 4-month fence, couldn't repair properly, paid $300 after pressure. Dismisses costs at estimate, adds them later. Makes promises, then excuses."

He also explained that he uses a professional grade material for commercial parking lots so it will last for 3-5 years. Initially it is more expensive, but over time it ends up being cheaper than sealing annually. There was a missed spot next to a curb, but John was good about the touch up. "Mr. Zarlengo gave us an estimate which only varied slightly because we asked him to cover a bit more area than the original estimate.  His crew removed all the existing asphalt and some very large tree roots which were causing our drive to buckle badly.  They then added quite a bit of rock underlayer and graded it well.  They allowed it to settle, then came back and regraded.  This was allowed to settle, then 2 1/2 inches of asphalt (at least) were poured and graded.  The entire crew was very professional, worked well, and we love our driveway.  I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Zarlengo to anyone or to use them again. <br />"
