He arrived on time, the quality of his work was excellent and fairly priced, and he finished the work faster than initially projected. Bob also went out of his way to do some additional touch-up paint work in the unit, and gave my girlfriend a small screwdriver for another repair in her apartment. He pointed out that he could also replace some wooden pickets on the fence which I needed to have done but didn't think about asking him as getting the gate repaired was more important. He came out on Friday morning and repaired the gate and replaced pickets as well as secure a section of fencing. He did a great job. Bertie was very polite and punctual. He addressed all our concerns about the shelves being functional as well as looking, not just nice, but part of the room. The shelves are adjustable, cover an entire wall, go around two windows, and fit under a vaulted ceiling. He installed them so they look as though they have always been there. He is well-versed in furniture design as well as being a contractor so when we didn't have any set ideas about the design, his suggestions were wonderful. The bookshelves look amazing and fit even more books than we thought they would. Also, he even thought to make extra shelves in case we wanted to add to them to make some tiers smaller."
