He put in a new apron out of the garage 2 years ago, last year he and his crew did a new low slope driveway approach replacing the city curb with its steep angle. My car kept bottoming out on the standard rollover curb. When the city inspcted it the inspector commented on the quality of the job. Just today they finished the diveway with a couple of pours totallimg 20 yards. It looks great and already several neighbors have complemented it. "My installation experience with Craftsman went extremely well. The crew came right on time as promised. They worked quickly and efficiently for three days. The head of the crew said they could have finished in two days but he doesn't like to rush at the end because that's when people take shortcuts and don't do as good a job cleaning up. Unusually conscientious approach. The products seem exactly as described. All of the details we'd discussed were included, like colors, finishes, and using primed wood trim pieces that can be painted once the weather is warmer. The crew cleaned up each day and did a thorough cleanup at the end. Haven't had much chance to use the windows yet, but they open and close and look good inside and out. These were old window openings so lines weren't all straight and squared perfectly at first, but they did a good job of creating clean lines and squared corners. The custom curve on one window in front looks very attractive inside and out and this feature took skillful measuring and installation. The company was more than reasonable about the final payment. It turned out the install happened just before I left town for a month and I asked if I could postpone the final payment until I had a chance to really check things out more thoroughly. They were very understanding and flexible and I really appreciated that. They also sent a note saying that they stand behind their work and to let them know if there are any issues that come up later. The only reason I gave the company a B was that the contract was signed Oct. 1 and the install date came up very suddenly in January. My previous experience with windows and doors was that the job was performed within not more than 6 to 8 weeks after the contract was signed. We didn't really talk about the timing prior to signing the contract and in hindsight maybe I should have asked. Once the contract was signed I was told the approximate install date would be mid. December. That was disappointing. But the products didn't come until January--even worse. This may have been the fault of the supplier, but any delay should be discussed with customers as early as possible and approximate revised install dates should be negotiated at that time. When this didn't happen as expected, it made me think the company might be unreliable and I began to mistrust my judgment in signing with them. As it turned out they did high-quality work and my worries proved unfounded. I would definitely hire them again, but ask more questions about timing next time."

I wasn't in a hurry (out of the house) and had been happy with Zell in the past so I decided to wait (the wait was due to my needs as well as their availability). Les made two calls to confirm and showed up on time. He went right to work and got through the gunk that must have been pretty far down the pipe (traps were clear). "Northland Coating did my garage floor in June 2013. During the warranty period, small cracks and chips emerged. Justin inspected the damage and promised a recoat, but suggested waiting until the situation worsened and the winter passed, assuring me it would still be covered. Several years later, I believed the issue had worsened and attempted to contact them. After four initial text messages, Justin responded, requesting photos, which I promptly sent. Despite numerous follow-up texts, I received no further communication. I was ghosted! On July 19th, I sent a text stating that if I didn't hear back, I would file a report with the Better Business Bureau and post negative reviews on social media. As of August 1st, there has been no contact."
