"These guys were great! They were friendly and very knowledgeable about what they were doing. They looked at my steps and didn't exaggerate the problem. I was told what needed to be done and that they were going to drill a few holes to inject the limestone grout, and then did exactly what they said they were going to do. I did call around to get quotes from other companies and was quoted $3000 as a starting point. I paid a fraction of that cost and got my money's worth. If you are ever in need of concrete repair, call these guys! I'm glad I did."

"This is the third time that I've used this company to adjust my almost 70-year old driveway. Each time the response to the initial call has been timely. They raised the sunken part of the driveway and angled it for rainwater flow. The crew were friendly, explained what was to be done before they started and, when done, showed me what had been done and allowed for any comments. Good clean-up too."

"On July 1st (2021), Mel and Stephan from Innovative Basement Authority dug a 30'x18" trench by hand to bury our sump pump discharge pipe. They installed a freeze valve, 30' of 5" PVC, and a discharge grate, exactly where we asked to place it. They had to dig right next to the garage foundation, so this was no easy feat. They also made short work of removing a 4'x4' concrete pad for us. The guys were very courteous, punctual, and seriously hard-working. They did an exceptional job, and in just half a day, I was able to check 1 more item off my honey-do list! We are hoping to hire Innovative Basement Authority for some garage floor concrete work in the near future. Thanks IBA! Brian & Terri MacDonald"

"Don't need to know anything. The workmen will answer any questions eagerly. My project was not major (level my personal front sidewalk from the City's to my door) and only took 1 hour. These guys said they can work several projects a day, but some things like lifting and doing substantial things like driveways will take most of the day."

"I appreciated the accurate estimate for the work as well as the advice on preventing it from happening again. The crew arrived on time and raised the walkway section so it’s level now. They also caulked between the driveway and garage slabs."

"<p>I had 3 walk slabs leading up the house that were sloping towards the foundation and created a trip hazard.  I also discovered large voids underneath the front stoop and wanted to fill to help some water drainage issues along the foundation.  Went with Cement Raising based on reviews and quotes I received.  They weren't the cheapest, but seemed the most responsive to the issues I was facing.  Was able to negotiate a little better price than originally quoted.  They were pretty backed up and said it would take about a month to get scheduled, which was fine with me.  I received a phone call the day before they were coming out to do the work, again, fine with me, just wasn't going to be home at the time.</p> <p>The work itself, by nature, is relatively messy with the mud they use.  They drill small holes in the slabs and pump material underneath to level them.  I was happy with the end product and looked ok, a bit of mud residue was on the stoop and in the lawn (which I was expecting).  </p> <p>My neighbors were home at the time and told me a little more about the work.  They used my outside faucet and didn't hook it up very well, which was leaking/draining around my foundation (as noted above, I've been having drainage issues around my foundation).  My neighbor was nice enough to tighten the hose connection to stop the leak. Apparently their pump had broke in the service truck that took them some time to fix.  The truck was parked in the street and created a bit of a traffic hazard during the repair.  There was a lot more mud residue on the driveway which my neighbors had asked them to clean.</p> <p>Overall, end result was good, would have liked a little more attention and care to the details during the actual work.</p> <br />"

"This family owned company lifted a sinking concrete patio in our yard 4 years ago. The husband and wife team came and analyzed and quoted. Their sons did the work. Unfortunately, the concrete started to sink again 4 years later, so we called them. They were very concerned and although so much time had elapsed, they wanted to come out and redo it for no charge. We are xtremely pleased with their excellent customer service, the fact that they stand behind their work after 4 years, and professionalism. They cleaned up and were very responsive. Highly recommend their services!"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Andover, MN

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
