"Our initial contact (Jon Long) came to estimate the job. He was quite knowledgeable and gave us some very helpful insights about the design. Since this was our first wooden privacy fence installation, Jon was also very patient as we needed a little extra time to make some adjustments to the fence plan. We had to review, discuss, and resolve any matters with our neighbors and The Woodlands Township in order to get approval to proceed. Once we received the green light, Lester Perkins then coordinated the actual construction/installation for our project He was courteous, professional, and always available for consultation, too. The day of our fence construction was led by Aurelio who was very competent and friendly. Our work was completed in one day - just as promised. In addition to installing a high quality and great looking new western cedar fence, we were most impressed with the focus on customer service which Texas Fence provided along the way during our job. The installation of one of the new fence posts closest to our house accidentally caused a water sprinkler line to be damaged. However, Texas Fence (true to their contract) coordinated this repair quickly and all is well! We highly suggest that you contact Texas Fence to provide an estimate for your next new fence, too! We received three estimates but opted not to take the cheapest estimate. The reason? We were really impressed with the looks of another Texas Fence installation performed in our area and became confident that they would do us a great job, too! They absolutely did. Win/win!"

"He did a basic repair on the fence. The fence had about 5 areas that needed repair and he only repaired one area. I thought the deal meant that he would take care of all of the repairs. "My 20 year old driveway gate operator was giving me problems (banging closed, wouldn't shut off once gate was closed, etc.). I called some of the other companies reviewed by Angie's List to get quotes on repairs and/or replacements. A number of them jumped straight to replacement and really were not interested in repairing the operator. Some even felt they could give me decent quotes over the phone without even looking at my gate! Alex was willing to look over my old operator to see if we could repair it.
Overall the job went very well. I was impressed at how well Alex and his specialists looked over my situation, determined exactly where the gate operator needed to go, how long the arm needed to be, where it would need to attach, etc. They definitely did not just come and drop in a new operator - the whole job was well thought out.
The work crew was very polite. They worked for hours and cleaned up when the job was completed for the day. My repainted gate arrived on a flatbed and was carefully packed to prevent scratching the new paint job.
The job took about 2 weeks from start to finish. No real surprise here - Alex told me up front it would be about 10 days depending on the availability of his painting subcontractor.
The cost was on par with others. The entire job was not cheap, but I asked Sigma to do a lot - basically bring the entire gate back to like new condition. A big reason I gave the job to Sigma was that they could sandblast and professionally paint the gate. All others either did not paint or would spray paint in place.
With everything complete, my gate truly looks as good or better than new. Between the power coat and the commercial gate operator I don't expect any issues for at least 5 years (gate operator is guaranteed for 7 years) and should hold up for years after that!

"We just purchased the home, and I knew we had some issues with our gutters.  I do not like climbing on ladders so I purchased a coupon special from Berger Home Services to perform gutter cleaning and maintenance.  They had in clear print that the coupon was only for 300 linear feet, but they mentioned it during the scheduling process to make sure I knew its limitations. I applaud the company for not trying to hide costs or fees.  The technician performing the estimate was very professional, and did not try to sell us on extra items we didn't really need.    The technician who performed the work a couple of days later was punctual and did a great job cleaning the gutters and he repaired a few things on our gutter.  I will use this company again in a few months when we need to do have our gutter cleaned again, and would recommend to anyone.
