"Claudio and his crew arrived on time. His whole crew was very courteous and they cleaned up after a long day. Seriously they showed up at 7:30 am and one day didn t even leave until 7:30 pm! I had a large stucco job that needed removal of old stucco and they even repaired some cracks they noticed that we didn t agree upon for the same price we agreed upon. "The first red flag is representing himself as Steve Perez on Angi’s list when in fact his name is Ziv. There’s the hard sell and false promises (finish a kitchen remodel in 5-6 weeks) when it took 4 months. Unprofessionalism is an understatement. He communicates through texting like a teenager and screams at the client when in fact errors are his fault or his sub-contractors. We provided appliance specs very early in the process and the electrician still made errors for which Ziv wanted us to pay for. The cabinets delivered were incomplete which he blamed on us. He demanded a final payment and threatened to put a lean on our house when the work was incomplete per the contract. Then Subs starting calling demanding payment which was resolved after we provided cashed checks to Sonart Construction. Don’t believe what I say. Read the BBB review complaints for a well-deserved F rating."

"Representative came to estimate new asphalt roof and soffit repair. First told us the would not reattach our gutters because the holes won’t line up. Then said they could repair the tea soffits because of our pool cage. I asked how a company that sells and installs gutters can’t simply reattach ours and she had no answer . Also asked why an experienced contractor remove a dozen screws holding the pool cage to the roof then reattach them she said they just don’t do that work. Finally she gave us an estimate of over twice as much as two other companies. This is twice as much for one third less work given what they can’t do. Urge people avoid this company."

"I initially hired Mr.Handyman to investigate and fix a leak around my window. They told me on the phone based on the photos I provided that the estimate for the job will be about $775 to find and fix the source of the leak and replace the drywall. I believe they use predatory and deceitful practices to inflate the final pricing, as it ended up being far higher than original estimates. When their handyman showed up, the estimate changed to $1010. I was never verbally informed that any of these estimates did not include materials. After removing the drywall, the handyman never found the source of the leak. I had to drive out to the property to find and fix it myself. I then called the handyman to re-install the drywall after the issue was fixed. I was then given another invoice for $977, so now we are at a total $1433, of which they claim $371 is materials. They never found or fixed the actual issue as promised but still charged for the full job. I thought we were being overcharged, since the original estimate was for finding and fixing the actual source of the leak, which they never did. When I questioned the materials charge and asked for receipts, their manager told me he would not send me any receipts even though they have them in the system because "its not their protocol" and that they put an upcharge on materials. When I questioned how much % the upcharge is, or if they can provide actual pricing of the materials, he said “when you buy at Publix, you don't ask them how much they upcharge for your food". This makes no sense, as at the store I see the price before I buy something, so I can decide if I want to buy it. Mr.Handyman never provided me with pricing of materials upfront, they just sent me one final price at the end without a breakdown of materials purchased, which they can make up to be anything. This is highly unethical. If this is a cost-plus contract, they should be providing receipts."
