The work included excavating and leveling the site, pouring and re-enforcing the slab, and selecting and purchasing the stone, brick and other materials. In addition to the patio, Mottern also filled in an approx. 12 sq/ft section of brick wall where a door had been converted to a window. The filled-in brick and mortar matches the original 50-year old wall perfectly. Overall, the entire Mottern crew was prompt, responsive, professional, and very skillful. "In my back yard I had a leaning brick wall. I called a few masonry places in the area. Most were very expensive so I researched online and found J Sanchez. Jose came over assessed the wall and provided a very reasonable quote. Within a matter of a few days the tore down the original wall and built a new wall. The new wall looks great and he added reenforcement to make sure it would not lean again. When the workers were finished they clean up and put everything back they way they found it. I would definitely call him again if I need any masonry work done."

"I settled on Custom Stonescaping based on Ron, who came out to give us the estimate, which was by far the most reasonable. Ron spend tons of time explaining the project to me. We needed a new patio because 10 years ago I hastily elected to have a stamped concrete patio put in. Within 2 years, it was noticeably deteriorating. Frustrated that I had spent 75% of what a stone patio would have costed, I looked for someone to fix it, but eventually found that fixing it was not possible. If I wanted it to look good, I would have to start from scratch. Ron promised the flagstone patio would be more durable and look terrific, he was right! Also, the team that did the work were incredibly polite, responsive when I had (probably dumb) questions and absolutely meticulous about cleaning up. the result is fantastic! can't recommend this company enough.
