We first began building gardens in California in 1970. In 1982 we moved to Nevada County, California, where we remain today. As a small, family-owned business, our primary focus has been custom residential landscaping. However, we have done both public and commercial jobs, as well as ecological restoration and small scale agricultural and horticultural development. Long ago we determined not to grow our company beyond the point where we, as owners, could not actively participate in field work on a daily basis. This practice allows us to consistently turn out individual, well-crafted projects. Our work continues today on a local and regional basis, from Lake Tahoe to the Pacific. We have an ongoing commitment to improve our craft both technically and aesthetically.

First time customers are based on a cash on delivery (no credit checks) and Contractors are by contract or purchase orders. We take all major credit cards and preprinted checks. Billing is based on actual footage installed, the rental agreement is there mainly for an approximate figures. No job is too small and we pride ourselves on our service.
