"I received my radon results in a timely manner. I did not hire them specifically, (so, I cannot say I would hire them again) the local company contracted them for this service. The home inspector I hired, handled this service for me and included the results in his report."

"<ul> <li>The work was excellent! The leak was quickly detected and repaired with minimal water loss. The repair was superior to the original connection in the water pipe. The technician explained every step, replanted grass around the area and the result was pristine!</li> </ul> <br />"

"Mike originally installed two tankless hot water heaters when we did a whole house remodel in 2007. One services the floor system. The floor system failed to turn on with the recent cold weather we have had. Mike came out and replaced the mother board. However, two rooms failed to warm up and he came out a second time at no charge. Air locks in the system were flushed out and everything is working well. He shared a number of maintenance tips with us. Thanks Mike for very punctual and efficient service."

"I had an older home with broken galvanized water pipes. The house is located on a remote ranch in Eastern Oregon and finding a plumber that would come out to the ranch was a nightmare. I finally checked Angie's list and found Crooked River Advanced Plumbing and they were more than willing to drive the 4 hours to the ranch. Cody looked over the situation and gave me the option of either repairing or replacing the pipes and fixtures and I chose to totally replace everything! Cody stayed late into the evening until the job was completed. You don't find service like that anymore. THANK YOU Crooked River Advanced Plumbing!. I have referred them to all of my friends, family and neighbors!"

"Patrick was extremely helpful during the entire process. He was adept at helping us with our choices of oak flooring, quartz and tile. Vladimir of Puzzle, llc was responsible for the flooring installation. He was very meticulous and made sure everything was done just right. The quality of work was exemplary. He communicated with us very well. When an issue came up Vladimir would explain the situation and provide us with several options to resolve the issue. He was adept at finding viable solutions to issues that arose during the remodel. Patrick and Vladimir were very professional and we would highly recommend them to others!"

FAQs for plumbing installation for a remodel or addition projects in Antelope, OR

Adding bathroom plumbing to a detached garage starts with the basic line installation cost of $900 to $1,300. On top of this base expense, you'll need to budget for each fixture. A toilet costs  $250 to $550, sinks cost $150 to $800, and a shower or bathtub costs $400 to $1,900. The project will also require ventilation, moisture-resistant materials, and possibly electrical work. Remember that these costs reflect only the plumbing aspects—additional construction, finishing, and permitting expenses will apply to complete a functional bathroom space.

While certain aspects of garage renovation might be suitable for DIY enthusiasts, plumbing installation requires professional expertise. Connecting to water and sewer systems demands specialized knowledge and equipment, and improper installation can result in severe water damage, code violations, and potential health hazards. Most municipalities require permits for plumbing modifications, and these often stipulate that licensed professionals must perform work. Consider limiting your involvement to simpler tasks like painting or basic finishing work.

The timeframe for adding plumbing to a detached garage spans one to three days for the actual plumbing work. However, this represents only the active installation period. The complete project timeline must account for planning, obtaining permits (which can take weeks depending on your locality), coordinating multiple contractors if needed, and addressing any unexpected challenges that arise during installation. Weather conditions can also impact excavation and outdoor connection work.

Adding plumbing to a detached garage will likely increase your property taxes. Tax assessors consider plumbing an improvement that enhances property value and functionality. The specific tax impact varies by location and project scope. Converting a garage into living space with plumbing facilities can trigger significant reassessment in many jurisdictions. Before proceeding with your project, consult your local tax assessor's office to understand the potential tax implications and factor this ongoing expense into your decision-making process.
