They offered to buy a new mailbox for me, but I wanted to choose one myself. I bought one (they purchased a post), and left it on my front porch in the morning. I came home that evening and it was installed perfectly, just the right distance from the street, level and sturdy in the ground. The landscaping around the post looked like it was barely touched. "Larry Schott and his crew were working on a home in a nearby suburb and could not get to my project right away but Larry stayed in touch and followed up with me to secure the job.  He worked closely with the stone company to custom cut new steps and they turned out very nice.  My only issue was that one of his crew decided to cut the bricks for the face of the steps in close proximity to where the mortar was being applied.  This resulted in the mortar having a red tinge.  Larry came back and took care of the issue and the end result is that I am satisfied. <br /> I found Schott construction to be very professional and conscientious and I would use them again. <br />"

We had a minor dispute revolving around quoted vs billed cost but this was resolved in a professional manner."

The only problem is that they are expensive but the boss told us that outright. We found out later we could have gotten a much cheaper roof installed but it would have also been a lower grade shingle. <br /> So I guess you get what you pay for. We had one slight problem initially with the roof and they responded and fixed it promptly. <br /> Overall, you can not beat them for quality and superior workmanship - it is the price that hurts. <br />"
