I recently purchased a condo and the floors were very creaky and not the color I wanted. After contacting Marcel, he quickly came to my place to give a quote. Marcel and team quickly got to work and provided me with regular and clear updates. My floors were fully replaced and stained within a week. The Team had to put in extra work as there were electrical conduits under most of my floors The floors now do not squeak at all and the stain looks great! "Wizard of Wood Floors did an awesome job! They were efficient, on time and did everything that was promised. We had new floors installed in our family room and hallway. Our existing floors in the dining room and kitchen were refinished to match the new floors. They did a great job in putting up plastic to contain the dust in the rooms that were not being done. Even after they left everyday, they cleaned everything up so we could function in our home. It was a big project, but well worth it. The end product was absolutely beautiful and we couldn’t be happier with our floors. 6 months after our floors were installed, we noticed a splinter in the floor in our family room. I called the owner, Mike Galloway to let him know. Him and his team immediately got back to me and within 2 days the splinter was repaired and my floor looks as good as new. That is true customer service!!"

"Ceaser and his brother were amazing! Another flooring vendor dropped the ball, and they were able to step in and get the job done in just three days - quote, sample and installation. They were very professional, responsive and kept us updated on the progress and status of the job. They jumped through hoops to make this happen for my parents, and we all couldn't be happier. Ceaser even went out of his way to my parents' current home to personally thank them. He even climbed up on the tractor to shake my dad's hand when the job was complete. Even though they are in northern Illinois, I know I will be recommending them to anyone who has a remodeling or flooring job. Thank you!"

"My initial experience was positive. The salesperson was very helpful and I chose carpeting that was reasonable for my budget. The installers were punctual and courteous. However, the price in the store for my carpeting was incorrect, and when it came time to pay, the salesperson was pretty rude when I demanded the price that was on the sample in the store. He even refused to let me talk to his boss. After speaking with another salesperson, I was given the price that was in the store and a credit for the extra labor for stairs, which was nice. I'm not totally pleased with the installation. There are air pockets and bumps all over the place, and when I went back to the store, I was told to try sticking pins in the air pockets and if that didn't work, they would come pull up the carpet. I just don't feel like dealing with them anymore, so I'll probably just accept all the imperfections because I don't want to turn my basement upside down to fix them.

Also very affordable and great price especially for the quality of work he gave us. Completed it in a timely manner and also worked hard to complete it within the timeframe he gave us. "After removing carpeting from our old staircase,we found several of our treads cracked and broken. Roman cut out all the old risers and treads and replaced them with beautiful new wood.He primed the risers and stringers all white. He stained and finished the treads to match the existing hardwood flooring. It looks beautiful. Roman is an honest, hard working man."

"Installers did not come on time, two hours late. Then they had to validate that we paid Empire, which took an hour. The estimate of work was totally wrong, we were supposed to get a floating floor but the installers said they could not do that So they instead did a complete teardown of the existing floor and removed all the old tiles. The quarter round was included in the price of the materials but was never installed because we did not get a raised (floating) floor. So I think I was overcharged for the materials which were not used. I spoke to a number of persons at Empire about such issues without any resolution to my satisfaction. Besides all the problems encountered we do like the floor and it nice looking."
