Every member of the team was exceptional - from the exceedingly polite, punctual and professional initial on-site estimator to the incredibly responsive back office team who helped me complete my order (and was so patient throughout my many changes) and finally the respectful, organized and hard-working installation team, who completed a very difficult project within two days, working through a late afternoon downpour to finish the job on time. They even came back weeks later to repair a gate-latch at no cost. I sought 4 bids for this project, including from a well-known company where I was a repeat customer, where the other contractors were either no-shows, unprofessional or demanding of expensive prep requirements before considering the project. "They provided excellent service. Larry came out for the initial appointment to explain what would be done and provided an estimate. He was not rushed and took the time to explain the job thoroughly and answered all of our questions in detail. We called within a few days after meeting with him and scheduled an appointment to have the work done. Some of the work involved cutting our driveway to install the underground wire. Since we were getting our driveway sealed and did not have our new dog yet, they agreed to do the job in two parts - install the underground wire and then the accompanying components - for the same estimated cost. They could not set up the components properly until we got our dog. On the scheduled day, two of their men (and one dog) arrived as scheduled. They were friendly, professional, and did excellent work. They asked our permission to let their dog out of their vehicle before doing so. After completing the job, our property was left as clean as they found it. I would also like to mention the professionalism of the office staff. Whenever we called, we spoke with a very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly staff. I used this company after consulting with a couple of my neighbors who also used them, and they upheld their excellent reputation. A very good overall experience."

"We have a chain link fence around our property. The left side of our driveway gate was completely broken off of the post hinge and the gate itself needed to be welded back together. We asked several contractors to give an estimate for fixing the fence but nobody could do the job. I found Delaware Fence and Iron on Angie's List and was impressed by the reviews they received. <br /> Tom called me back and we scheduled a time for him to come out and see whether the gate could be fixed or if we needed a new one. Lucikly he said the gate could be fixed. The price was a little high but then again, we hadn't gone to a fence company for an estimate (only contractors/handymen). <br /> Tom was booked up for a couple weeks but he called one day and said he could come by to fix the fence since it wasn't a big job. So our wait was less than expected, which we appreciated. He welded the gate back to the post and welded the corners of the gate together. He additionally welded a cap back to the fence so that it was connected, brought the chain link down to the ground so there were no gaps and re-secured the chain link in several spots on the fence and gate. He additionally replaced a missing ball finial on one of the gate posts (something we hadn't noticed before). All of these extras were included in his price. <br /> We would highly recommend Tom's company to anybody looking for fence repair or installation of new fencing. He gives great attention to detail and finishes the job nicely. We are extremely satisfied with his work. <br />"
