"We used Travis and his team a few years ago when we put down laminate flooring. We were extremely pleased with the entire process and results, so naturally, when we bought our new home, we wanted to use them again. When it came to picking out the vinyl and carpet, Travis and Nicole were super helpful and extremely patient (trust me, I went through a LOT of samples!). Their pricing can't be beat and everything was ordered and delivered in time for installation. They referred us to John Sullivan to install the flooring and he and his partner Tyson did an amazing job and seriously could not be nicer guys. I'm in LOVE with my new floors! They were on time and respectful of our home and time. Travisreferred us to Jon Rumniz for carpet installation and we were pleased with him and his team as well! They worked quickly and efficiently. Finding dependable guys is so hard these days, so we were extra appreciative at how smoothly and pleasant the entire process went. We can not recommend these guys enough!! Thank you!"

"We choose Sumatra Giambi 18" and Topaz grout. The tile has been in our home for over two years now and we have had no issues of any kind. The tile looks beautiful and it is easy to clean. We love it. We dealt with Makala and Lyle. Keighers Flooring 6801 W. Villa Theresa Dr. Glendale Arizona (602-789-7770) installed the tile and they did a great job. Dan and Marsha were easy to talk to and Dan along with Kyle, Brandon and Adrian did the work. It is back breaking work but they were very fast and did an excellent job. <br />"

"These are area rugs that go into their carpet service place for cleaning and then they deliver them back. They're very professional and they're very upfront about their pricing. The price of cleaning the rug is based on its size and they will let you know if they anticipate problems with cleaning the rug. They also let you know how far out it's going to take to get your rug back to you. So it's not an overnight thing. It's at least three weeks and it could be more, depending on how busy they are."

"From start to finish this was a great experience (other than having to prepare by putting things away to have the floor installed ??) customer service was excellent and very responsive to my questions - and I had plenty. The crew that installed was courteous, professional and friendly and made sure I was satisfied with the work, which I was. I absolutely love the new flooring and baseboards! The quality of materials and workmanship is A+ I am not difficult, but I expect a job to be done well. ?????????? to the entire team!"

"Worked with Sue in the showroom, who is very patient and pleasant.  I found what I wanted online, actually, and took the info to her;  had sample out for several days with no problem.  Scheduled easily around my holidays and time off.  Called ahead about delivery of supplies and the need to put them inside to acclimate.  Called afterwards to make sure all had gone well.   <br /> Installer, Tom, was super easy going, very pleasant, and meticulous with his work.  He really wanted things to fit well and look good.  He is not pushy about his opinion, but gave ideas and suggestions which I appreciated.  The floors look great, and I really like the baseboards he recommended.  We ran into trouble fitting the dishwasher because of the poor layout, so he worked around it while I decided what to do. Ended up with a smaller dishwasher, he installed for the going rate, and he triple checked it for leaks.  He cleaned up the work area when he was done.  And again, he's just a very nice man.  He did say they only use installers who can pass background checks, which is why he works alone.  It did take longer than I expected, but I've only had new flooring once before, and that was installed by a crew who were in and out, damaged my walls and put the seams in the worst places.  So this craftsmanship is so appreciated and is worth the extra time. <br />"

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Arizona City, AZ

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
