"We thought Xtra Care did a tremendous job for us. We obtained about 6 quotes for the installation of a brick paver walkway in front of our house, and Xtra Care was at the low end of all the quotes. Cleber of Xtra Care assisted us, and he was the only quoter to prepare an actual detail diagram of the planned work -- the others just verbally described that they would replace an existing old flagstone walk with pavers. The Xtra Care installers were very professional, and took notable care with the work. While we had originally considered all the quotes high (even Xtra Care's lower quote), when you see the work being done, you realize why this kind of work does carry some expense. We were very, very pleased with the work. We were away for the last day of work, and came back to find every detail addressed. In fact, we had just cleared a small area of the yard near the path, and because my husband had mentioned in passing about our plan to grow grass there, they actually seeded the area for us while we were away! We had the walkway done in anticipation of a sale of our house to add curb appeal, and the walkway has really added a pop to our pictures! We would definitely recommend Xtra Care to others."

"Mottern did a fantastic job designing and installing a large flagstone-on-concrete patio for us. The work included excavating and leveling the site, pouring and re-enforcing the slab, and selecting and purchasing the stone, brick and other materials. In addition to the patio, Mottern also filled in an approx. 12 sq/ft section of brick wall where a door had been converted to a window. The filled-in brick and mortar matches the original 50-year old wall perfectly. Overall, the entire Mottern crew was prompt, responsive, professional, and very skillful. Project Scope: Demo & rebuild 4' x 25' timber retaining wall w/ drainage stone, piping, etc. Rebuild wood fence on top of retaining wall Demo wood patio, install paver system & border river rock *They also worked with my HOA to install a walkway with stone pavers and an 8x8 timber staircase adjacent to the retaining wall Background: Our project started with the desire to demo and rebuild a failing ~4' timber retaining wall in our rear patio which extended beyond our property line into public space. Our HOA opted to build a stair instead of their section of the retaining wall. As you can imagine, this got a little complicated as it required a number of different reviews and permits from the city. I opted to manage the permitting myself, which involved a number of revisions to drawings and schedule delays. AtlasGC was very patient and accommodating during this process and also helped me work with the city to get the drawings approved. The city-driven changes to the design introduced added cost after their initial quote, but in order to keep the project from falling further behind schedule, they moved forward and absorbed the added cost. Communication/Professionalism: Shiraz and Abdul were very communicative and professional during the entire process. During the design evolution, Shiraz assembled a number of revised quotes which were very clear, timely and professionally assembled. We discussed a number of different options for the construction of the wall and he was very transparent regarding price, time, etc. During construction Abdul, Melvin and his crew were very respectful of the area and kept a clean construction site. Once started, the project progressed quickly and completed within the established timeframe. AtlasGC was also very patient and obliged to a couple of requests I made to make adjustments to their completed work per my personal preferences. They did this free of charge, without hesitation. Pricing: We had a number of contractors provide quotes on the project and AtlasGC was by far the most competitive. So competitive, in fact, that we decided to also have them hardscape our entire patio with a beautiful stone paving system. "Perfect, 2 courteous gentlemen were here for 2 days and redid our front patio that my parents build 16 years ago. Some of the rows of bricks were sinking. They took all the bricks up and repaired the border and laid the bricks back down and the patio looks brand new. It truly looks professional now and the guys were a pleasant to work with."

"They were very methodical, managed there time really well. The first day, removed all the old concrete and hauled to all away. The next day, they built the forms and poured the new concrete. They set plastic pipe incerts in the concrete so I could replace the original handrail. They said they do not set railings, but they got it ready with the inserts. They told me exactly how to keep the steps wet for several days to enhance the curing process.

"The cement on our slate patio was cracking and in need of attention. Mr. Sanchez and his crew did a great job of grinding out the old cement, stabilizing the stones where necessary and putting in new cement. The crew was efficient and polite. The job was finished on time and for a fair price, IMO. Before and after photos (of one small area) attached. [One note: The grinding out of the old cement created a signigicant amount of dust. much of which went into the adjacent garden. My wife was/is concerned this will affect the chemistry of the soil, thereby affecting the health of her plants. Just be aware.] Highly recommend."
