"Mr. Burns is quite knowledgeable about the type of roof we had (built-up, also known as slag or tar & gravel), and the repairs necessary to correct a leak (vice replacement). Other roofers wouldnâ t take the job - it was out of their sphere of experience. Mr. Burns was prompt, clean and efficient, and charged a reasonable amount. On his first visit, Mr. Burns repaired part of the roof and eave that had rotted away over time. The rot was due to long term (years) water intrusion. There were two possible sources for the origin, but we took his advice to wait for rain to determine which area needed repair work. He returned in a few days, after a heavy rainstorm revealed the source, to find and repair the source of the leak higher up. The roof has been trouble free since his repair."

Ryan from Peak Roofing immediately put in a temporary fix on the roof and in the attic above the dining room, coordinated the roof repair, drywall and painting repair, and was present when the insurance adjuster inspected the damage. As repairs were underway and the almost inevitable hidden damages showed up, Ryan coordinated directly with the insurance company to cover the additional costs. "Griffin Roofing installed a new copper roof beneath our roof deck, reinstalled our roof deck, installed a new copper roof above the bay window walkout, installed new sewage vent pipe flashing, replaced missing/broken slates, install new gutters, and sealed the ridge with asphalt sealant. The crew worked diligently despite the hot weather. Matt was accessible, friendly, and understood our needs. He answered the many questions that I had. The budgeting number they gave us at the outset ended up being the price. They were able to complete the job before my daughters birthday party as they stated they would. I would use them again."

"From our initial meeting with the sales rep Richard, very knowledgable and professional, to the final walk around with project manager Brian  all went smoothly and we are very pleased. The roof installation took about 3 days due to weather delays, however, Sara the office manager contacted me each day to give me an update on the weather and when the crew would be returning to complete the work. She  and Brian also went above and beyond helping us to select the perfect color shingles by sending me extra samples and showing pictures of houses that had similar siding and shingles. Rico's crew worked efficiently and took great pride in doing their best work. "Was searching for a Solatube dealer to repair or replace a defective dimmer switch and a "cloudy" prism that had been installed by a dealer that was no longer in business. Found Amazing Skylights booth at the Home Show at Dulles Town Center last March 2015.  The representative at the booth recommended I contact Richard Lindsay, the president of Amazing Skylights for response to my questions.  After speaking with him on the phone, I drove to his place of business with the prism and defective switch.  Wasn't sure what to expect, "showroom" fabrication facility or office.  Amazing Skylights operates out of a small bungalow in a light industrial area.  They have an office and parts storage there.  Mr. Lindsay was not there when I arrived but Mike, his able installer was there.  Mike offered me coffee or water while he examined the prism.  He disassembled it and cleaned it thoroughly while demonstrating how to do it at home if needed in the future. Rich, Mr. Lindsay, arrived and searched his web source for the dimmer switch and found he had one in stock.  The switch cost $60.00.  They did not take credit cards and I only had $40.00 with me.  "No problem. Send me the balance when you get home", Mr. Lindsay said.  Although, I can't comment on their actual installation of Solatubes or other skylights, I would definitely consult them for such work in the future based on their helpful courteous attitude and trust which they extended to me.
