Recently I engaged Andy to service our well-water acid neutralizer tank, because I questioned the reliability of service by another company 13 months earlier. Andy tested our water and found that its pH value was 6.97, which was consistent with previous readings over the past six months when he did other work for us. Because our well-water pH is essentially neutral, Andy explained the acid neutralizer tank is not necessary. He offered two options: 1) remove the tank (thus leaving us with only the water softener tank) or 2) empty it, which option I selected. He also reduced the cost of the service call. Andy’s approach starkly contrasts with the other company that for years took advantage of an unsuspecting customer by charging almost $300 to “service” the tank and unnecessarily adding expensive calcite. "The original project I hired them for was to replace leaky faucets in both the kitchen and bathroom. Frank, the owner, was responsive and professional. They scheduled the work promptly and showed up on time. Unexpected issues were discovered that required a second trip and additional work. They communicated everything clearly and the additional costs were handled separately and transparently. They also cleaned up after the work was done. I would hire them again."

"They honored their contract and were willing to come back and help us work through a problem that popped up. It was refreshing to have a company actually be responsible and take responsibility. They were kind, professional and actually took care of us, what else can I say?"

"BRINSON & Son came out to our house last week to fix a leak and replace some faucets. Despite arriving a little late, They did an excellent job and recommended some further work to be done this week. I gladly accepted their recommendation and booked them for 2 PM. Fast forward to 2:15 PM this week, and I haven?t heard a single thing from them about our scheduled appointment. I call and they admit they completely forgot about the job, did not apologize, but offered to at least come out between 5:30-6. I accepted. Fast forward to 6:45. I call again. Now they say they are NOT able to come out, still did not apologize, and they did not offer a reschedule or anything. I have never been more flabbergasted by a business in my life. I paid on time, and I was respectful, kind, understanding. Why should my wife and I be disrespected like that? I would give them 1 star, but the initial work they did was great, just don?t expect them to come back for the follow-up work. "

"I do not recommend this company. I called them to fix an issue with my range hood exhaust. The technician charged a diagnostic fee of $95 and then said the switch was not working, which was a small component. The total charge was $391. The technician spent hardly 10 mins and charged a lot. After exhaust repaired, the house was empty for some time, and when the tenant moved in, they found that the exhaust was not working. I called the company again, and they told me that the motor was not functioning. During the first visit, the company didn't check everything; they only fixed a small component and charged a lot of money."

"The short version of this review is we were very happy with the work Select Kitchen and Bath did for us and would not hesitate to use them again. Our project, which was completed in January 2025, consisted of a complete remodel of two full bathrooms which were vintage 1983. Amanda was our designer, Mark was the lead installer, and John was the project manager. All three of them provided welcome suggestions, good guidance and advice throughout the process… starting with clear and transparent service agreements. Select was very accommodating with scheduling and access to the house / workspaces. Questions were answered promptly by Amanda, Mark and John, and any concerns were addressed to our satisfaction. Our new bathrooms are great!"

"Waited a year to post a review (never no if things turn bad later). All in all, had a very good experience during the 'pandemic' era. Farzan was a great point of contact, and they were quick to address a few small problems that I noticed afterward (one of the installed floor planks had a crack, for example) with no additional charges. They finished our basement remodel (adding a shower, painting, removing old rugs, installing new wood/stained stairs, etc) within a week of their original estimate, so definitely points for that. Prices were reasonable compared to other estimates as well-"

"Jeff and his team (Deanna, Jake, Javier, and Rolando) did an excellent job from start to finish. They worked with us and explained every step of the process, helping us with design decisions and selections. The end product, our new kitchen, is of the highest quality. "I really wanted to be able to leave a wonderful review, especially as there are so many good ones, which was partly why we chose My Kitchen and Bath-Vienna to do our small kitchen renovation. To start with the positives, HUGE shout out to Josh Turgut who had the grandest of vision for our tiny 1940’s kitchen which included some significant behind the wall design challenges. He designed us an awesome kitchen with everything we were looking for within our budget. We are very appreciative of his expertise, kindness, and overall professionalism. As for the project itself, the begin, middle, and end of our project was nothing but disappointing. Demolition left uncleared debris and some scratches on our glass topped washer as nothing was covered underneath in our basement (directly underneath our kitchen). The contractor was unprofessional, and clearly lacked technical ability and attention to detail. There was damage to cabinet fronts (which had to be argued with the project manager not just to be touched up with paint but replaced; won’t come in for weeks post project completion), grout poured in our back yard, and having to replacing a potion of our kitchen floor after having been completed blaming “it was walked on” (him and another worker rolled the fridge over the floor not even 24 hours after grout was complete). Our new dishwasher was scratched upon reinstallation with nothing reported to us about it. The construction manager UT seemed knowledgeable and when we were able to connect, seemed to want to ensure things were going as planned and to our satisfaction. The project manager Burak responded, mostly in haste, to all my inquires of questions and concern and came out to meet in person several times. It didn’t seem as if he had any specific information about our project, as there was no follow up after demolition regarding our back wall which we were unsure could be taken down and was a very important part of our kitchen renovation. A cabinet was also installed with built in trash cans that we did not request and were unable to replaced with our original request for a regular cabinet. I think it should also be noted, in my opinion, that the price of some of the renovation was over priced, being charged $600 to put in a water line for our fridge or the $550 for hardware to be installed (we supplied our own purchased hardware). Overall, we are left a well designed kitchen with some unsightly errors."
