"Great experiences each time I've used this company. It's really, really hard to get good people to do quality work in Seattle, and Steve Bodine is one of those people. He employs great workers, treats them well and holds on to them for years. He personally is a genuinely decent and nice guy as well. He has years and years of experience and I would trust him with all my drainage needs (that's saying something in Seattle). Bodine also did a fantastic job with my concrete driveway and walkways. I first hired Bodine almost 3 years ago to redirect my downspouts to a new drain field in my back yard. His crew did an amazing job. I was so pleased, I hired them to do some concrete work in my basement. Again, excellent work. Based on that, I then hired them to pour a new concrete driveway and walkway. Again, an incredible job. They really care about getting it right. Bodine does virtually all of their work based on referrals... and they are busy. But if you have a problem, they will take care of it immediately and other times, you just have to be a little patient knowing they're busy taking care of someone else's problems. It works both ways. They were very patient with me when I had to change dates to have my driveway poured due to other work going on at my house. I also want to mention Jim Cuba and Manny, who worked on my most recent project and were terrific."

"Eli Grassley arrived as scheduled and I was able to show him the wall that I wanted to remove. He was very kind and professional and had all of the equipment he needed to do the assessment. He went into the crawl space in the attic to inspect the roof trusses. I was very happy with the service and would indeed use ESG Design in the future if the need arises."

"We have a large Dutch Colonial in North Tacoma that looks like a barn and is over 100 years old. The porch was enclosed in the 1930's to enlarge the living room. The old brick foundation in the front had slowly settled over time resulting in sloped floors, not the safest foundation in the event of an earthquake. Lee Mattingly from Robbins came to our house and got into our crawl space. Lee was very thorough inspecting the space inside and out. Because our situation was somewhat unusual, Lee encouraged us to get a 3rd party engineering report. We opted to stay with the engineers at Robbins. Lee came back to us with 3 options in different price ranges from $9000 for beams to $100K for a new foundation that would have added square footage to our basement. He explained every option thoroughly. We opted for helical piers because of their added safety in the event of an earthquake. Jorge and his team showed up on time the scheduled day to work. They were super professional and very kind. They were also incredibly neat. The work was done in a week, then the concrete cured and they came out 1 more day to finish installing the piers. The space was left cleaner than how they found it! (seriously - the swept up in the basement and the crawl space looked much cleaner) NOTE: I thought we'd have to move things out of our living room while they did the foundation. But...no, you don't have to move anything when they do this kind of work. Now we have a much safer home and the floors, while not perfectly even, are much better! We had an excellent experience. I recommend Robbins highly and Lee Mattingly especially. He is good at explaining things, patient with questions and answered my calls & messages very quickly."

"They were incredibly responsive during a very hard time. In the space of 4 days our home flooded (during a week when there were lots of homes flooding -- they had a foreman on site to take a look within 24 hours, when a competitor wouldn't have been able to even look at the problem for a month). In addition to our home flooding, our son was in a terrible accident and was in ICU for several days, and the hospital for 5+ weeks (he's still there as I write this). Some folks from our church called Justin at Western and asked if they could provide the labor and they could install the sump system to take care of the immediate flooding project. My wife and I weren't even there and between our awesome Church family and western they dug the trenches and installed a sump system to take care of the flooding issue. Western was super busy with the unprecedented flooding, but they worked with us. The second part of the project in preparing the foundation in a stairway to the basement hasn't been completed yet, but is scheduled, and I'm confident they'll do a great job with that too. I'll repost more info if I feel it is needed."

"I am a retired architect who has done work around the world. I have never had a project go as smoothly as my work with Lou. He responded to my request for proposal immediately. His price wasn't the lowest, but it wasn't the highest either. He struck me immediately as a guy who knew what he was doing, and as someone who would deliver as advertised. I wasn't disappointed. Demo took a day; dirt work and forming followed; the foundation pour came up a little short, but the crew had additional concrete on site in time to avoid a cold joint; the slab was beautiful. The highest compliment to Lou, Henry, Robert and the crew (guys who have worked together since high school) is that every subsequent sub that came on site (including the building inspector) commented on how good the concrete work was. These guys are pros! I would use them again in a minute. <br />"

"I had water in my basement due to a crack in my foundation. Moose was prompt and responsive to my request for an estimate. He provided a very fair price for his services. The work was very well done. I really appreciated his approach: do a great job, but don't fleece the public with unnecessary repairs. <br /> <br /> <br />"
