Together we took the small kitchen from the 1950s to the 2020s, while maximizing the storage capacity. Nick and Russ were great to work with, and I really appreciated their friendly and down-to-earth approach. Nick made himself available for my many questions, his wife was a huge help when it came to making design decisions, and both Nick and Russ were always open to brainstorm ideas for practicality. "I left Barefoot Decks a message and did not get a return call. Called again and got a hold of I believe the man's name was John. We talked and he had me send a picture of my deck. He said he would talk to someone about the work I wanted done and would call me back....haven't heard back from him. I don't understand this type of behavior....if one is too busy to take on another job or isn't interested in the job that one wants done then just say so and both parties can move on. I've read some other reviews and it sounds like they do good work but this type of apathetic customer service isn't cool. Sorry to have to give them an "F" but that's the good thing about Angie's List....you get to hear from real people and their experiences with the companies listed on the site."

"I hired Paramount back in 2020 for work on the first floor and appreciated their work so much that I brought them back for the basement (fix/ update after mold repair) and second floor (bathroom and stairs update, new carpet). Like the first time, I really appreciated Ryan's suggestions on style and options, and the various contractors were professional and very kind about working around me and the cats. Ryan was ultimately more critical than me about details and appreciate that desire to do things right and as clean as possible. Would use again!... although that would require a new house at this point. 😁"
