"I utilized both Habitar Design and Stratagem Construction for my kitchen project. It was a good experience from beginning to end and I will engage them on again on my next project. Some of my highlights included: My initial request for a quote was promptly responded to. It was the owner that call me and he gave me confidence that I could trust his firm to complete quality work. The design guidance was great and I was provided as little or as much feedback as I needed in pulling the project details together. Utilizing Habitar flowed seamlessly into my engagement with Stratagem Construction. Pricing was very transparent and all questions were promptly responded to Construction work didn't begin until all materials were secured - it made for short duration project which was great Throughout the project the worksite was well maintained - they didn't leave materials all over and respected my home Once the work was completed I was encouraged to keep punch list of items that required more work. There were very few, and all were addressed promptly. My one critique was that my start date was delayed a bit. I should have expected that but it was still frustrating. However, communication with Stratagem during the delay was good and they did a solid job explaining the delay and managing my expectations."

"The vendor came initially to give an estimate for a exterior repair and painting project. After discussing the issues we were having with some of our external cedar boards, he suggested that we wait on some of the work we were thinking of doing until next year. He offered some very helpful and insightful advice that several other vendors, including some A-rated Angie's List members, didn't including switching from solid stain to a wood-based paint in order to seal the boards and prevent subsequent freezing and thawing breakages that plagued some of the other boards that are beginning to crumble. <br /> After setting up a plan for next spring to comprehensively address the exterior, we set up a time for him to come out and repair a broken exhaust vent that was resulting in cold air blowing into the house. He came out just a few days later (and well before the weather turned cold) with a new vent and insulation to repair the problem both inside and out. <br /> Additionally, while he was here, he helped with a package that my wife was assembling. He's friendly and knows his stuff. I highly recommend him. <br />"

"I cannot recommend Bigane Construction too highly!!  This was a difficult project, which spanned a period of three months--including the last month, during most of which my wife and I were living in the unit while construction was continuing.  The quality of the workmanship was far beyond our highest expectations.  The principal worker on the job, Lukasz, is a true artisan as well as a wonderful individual.  He was unfailingly helpful, was neat as could be, had great insights as to how best to do the work, and communicated with us constantly with regard to questions which would arise.  He also worked very closely with our kitchen and bathroom planner, to ensure that the actual work not only conformed to the drawings but to the planner's design vision as well.  Lukasz is a perfectionist, who insists on everything being absolutely correct.  He knows the kitchen and bath remodeling business inside and out.  The other workmen on the job which Bigane provided (including brick masons, plumbers, glass installers and painters) were equally professional.    Bill Bigane himself was always available when needed.  I feel that the overall fee was not excessive in the light of the work performed.  The resulting effort is a showpiece, of which we are extremely proud.  I hope to never again have to live through a remodeling--but if I did, Bigane would be the first people I would call."

"We had a 750 sq foot elevated deck built by Joel and the building team led by Matt. Joel was fantastic to work with from his first visit, design proposal and quote. The building team led by Matt did extremely high quality work and were great to design with as the project progressed. They were very neat and hard working. We were delighted with the overall experience, result and value for money. We would definitely work with them again and highly recommend them."

We called in the morning for a quote because we were tired of looking at our busted screen on our patio door (Our dog can’t see well and tends to think it’s open when it’s really not). Bob and his partner came a few hours later to pick up the door, and were back with the finished replaced screen within an hour! "We received estimates from 3 different contractors for our soffit and fascia which was totally outdated. 1) Not only did Ryan Renovations offered the best estimate but also provided the best coverage for the entire project. 2) Ryan was very thorough and explained all the work needed as we went around the house while he was taking measurements. 3) The crew was very professional. They worked tirelessly in the cold February. They cleaned after each day that they finished.
