"Technician Jarred arrived promptly, correctly diagnosed the problem and told us he would have to order the new cartridge for our Jenn-Aire cooktop. One week later, the parts had come in and he came back to install. I was particularly impressed with Jarred's professionalism and care. He was careful to clean up after himself and did all work to an exceptional degree of professionalism. His actual employer is Pro-TV in Elkins, WV and was referred to us by Lowe's. "Brad, was polite and responsive  to any and all questions I had concerning my A/C units and what was being done.  I initially called them on Saturday and set up an appointment for the next Monday.  Temps on  that Monday were well above 95 with heat index above 103.  Unit had bad and leaking capacitors.  These were replaced.  Before any work was done I was informed of cost of replacement items.  He got the unit up and running but, suggested that I should have a leak test done on the system.. While Brad was there I phoned their office and set up the test for the next day. <br /> On the next day, Brad again was the fellow lucky enough to have to climb into the attic to check out the air handler, etc.  I felt for him.  it had to be 125 or 130 degrees up there.  Some leaks were found near  the outside unit at the valves.  I was again informed of replacement pricing of the valves.  My decision at this time was not to replace them as I would have about 1/2 the cost of a replacement A/C unit by the time this work would have been completed along with the amount spent on the previous day.  I am aware that my units are at or past their usefulness, they are 25 years old.  Brad put a type of sealant on the valves to slow down leakage.  This will give me some time to make a decision as to replacement of my aging units.  I also requested PM on the larger down stairs unit.  This was done, at an additional cost, and all seemed to be fine, there. <br /> I have no complaints on the work that was done and the manner in which it was done.  That being said I must enter my own personal observation here.  Accurate Heating purchased the smaller business that installed and serviced my HVAC for several years.  It seems to me that some of the personal touch that went with the smaller business has gone away.  Being a larger company means that some of the one on one service is left behind.   Although Brad did a great job, it just seemed that each and every thing had a dollar sign attached to it.  I know it is not him personally... it's just business.  Case in point, when the old company (Humble) was called for annual PM on our units all were checked for one price.  This time, since I requested a secondary inspection of my other unit, there was a charge for it, over and above the initial service call.  I would have thought this would have been done  as a part of the service, since they were at the location, any way.  <br /> As I said, all work done by the tech. was done in a professional  and polite manner, and in a timely fashion.  My only complaint is that I seem to have lost the personal touch that was a part of the past. <br />"

"We were looking for a carpenter to add crown molding, base molding and moldings around doors and windows in our house as we are remodeling. We saw other good reviews for ACA Handyman on Angie's List and gave them a call. They answered our call, made an appointment and came early to the appointment! All things I have not had other do in the past. They were able to get measurements and a quote during the initial  appointment and we decided to move forward. <br /> <br />We had existing crown molding we were tying into in our hallway and dining room and the ACA Handymen were able to do so without being able to tell! They were on time each day, and although it took an extra day to complete, it worked out fine. We also had them hang a new door to an existing door frame and it looks wonderful. They had to widen the door hinges and added a door handle. There was one split in the molding on the window, but our painter was able to patch it with no problems and you can't tell it was <br /> <br />even there. <br /> <br />We are extremely happy with the outcome of moldings. We wish we would have known about them sooner to do other work in the <br /> <br />house! We will continue to use them on other projects and strongly recommend ACA Handyman to others! <br /> <br />"
