The technician, Scott, showed up right on time (which is typical for SPH&A), extremely courteous (also typical), and did a timely but thorough job of the system checkup. This may be my favorite local business in the Richmond area; I feel I get a tremendous amount of value for the products and services they provide. When we needed our downstairs unit replaced two years ago, I went to great lengths to find the best possible value. During my research, I kept seeing comments about how great Short Pump Heating & Air was, and I have to say, it's all true. When they installed the downstairs unit, I was extremely impressed by the professionalism of the entire team, from the office staff to the technicians to the owner. In fact, I was so impressed that I had them replace the upstairs unit a year later, and didn't think twice about whom to call. As a homeowner, it gives me great peace of mind to have such a reliable organization as SPH&A for something as important as our heating and cooling system. This most recent service may have been a routine maintenance check, but it's great to know they still commit themselves to service excellence for their customers. "Appreciate the work that Southern Plumbing of VA did for our master bathroom. Previous owner did a remodeling project and the bathtub was installed incorrectly and there was a crack. Daniel and his crew did a great job of diagnosing the problem and came in the same week to fix it. They replaced our tub, did tile work, added an access panel to the tub from the exterior wall, and completed it with trimming. I appreciate their attention to detail. It was clear to me that they did not want to leave us without doing their best job. Appreciate the speed and timely communication."

They also cleaned up afterwards and hauled old line segments away and put down grass seed and straw where they dug up the yard. They let me watch the screen as they sent the camera down the line during the inspection . They also did the digging by hand on a very hot and humid day . I am impressed by their efforts! I will recommend this company to family and friends and hire in the future if needed! They also came out a day earlier than I was expecting which worked out well for me ."
