"They were punctual and thorough. Design was somewhat complex with a large pergola and when there were solutions that needed to be arrived at the communication was excellent. Quality of the construction is very high quality and precise. We have had a lot of work done on our house and one thing that seemed to be a common thread among contractors was that once the sub-contractors got started the contractor would leave. Often-times the subs would take advantage of this and cut corners or do sub-standard work that would have to be done over again. This was not the case with Southern Decks. The brothers that are owner-contractors and make sure that they are present at all times when work is being done. They are very accommodating when there are changes that come up and either do the work or communicate a very fair price for the extra work. They do not take advantage of being in the middle of a project to impose extra charges. The work on the deck infrastructure was so good in its integration with the structure of our house that some areas of the floors inside of the house were notably more stable. It is as if we also received work to further reinforce the subfloor in part of our house for free. I wish there was a way to post pictures here because the deck and pergola is really awesome looking. I would heartily recommend Southern Decks for your deck project."

"Very happy, on time, good craftsmanship and he even helped me with my fence. He helped me with multiple projects and was very proactive. He saved me time and energy by going above and beyond. I had 8 shutters with 5 bolts in each shutter that needed to be replaced. He replaced all 40 bolts , he painted the bolts, and fixed my fence. He also has good communication skills, personable, genuine, and he wants to know that your happy with what he did."

"I had planks replaced on the deck and everything was stained. The entire house was painted and new appliances were installed. All of the lights and outlets were replaced. The front porch was painted and the house was pressue washed. Alicia is great to work with and she makes sure everything is done to your satisfaction. Before the house was remodeled her crew extended my pool deck and added ceiling fans several years ago. Highly recommend as they are also affordable and will give you A good price on your project!"

"We have hired MJ for multiple projects and they always knock it out of the park. Most recently we had to cut a hole into our drywall after we heard a leak. We had MJ cut the hole to help us ensure that our roof patch was successful and to check for any water damage/mold. After we were in the clear, we decided to find a silver lining and add a cove shelf into the wall where we had to cut the hole. We exposed and sealed the chimney making for such a unique feature in our home. "

"Honest, professional, extremely great communication in scheduling and confirming. My cabinets were pulling away from the wall! House was only 4 years old at the time. They came in a new how to reattach and brace the cabinets. Tan to get the supplies needed and I had them do the entire kitchen . While there the discovered a live wire on top of the cabinets and took care of that issue for us as well. I have called them back for another repair because the service was outstanding. "They wanted to do both services in one day. The wood should be completely dry before painting. I had the same service completed last year and there was at least two days scheduled between the cleaning and painting. When I questioned why they were cutting corners this year the owner suggested I seek service elsewhere. I did just that!!!!!!"

"These guys are legit. Best deck around, no one even compares. NO WOOD OR COMPOSITE. PVC Cellular, is what they do. I had 5 different companies come out, all of them show some composite or pine wood. Yes PVC is more, but it is wayyyyyy better and is worth every penny. If you want a deck to last forever call them. "
