We are a small family owned company with a total of 10 employees. We are always striving to provide the best possible services while also keeping our standards very high. Ccb#185859

"I called Jason Cravenho on a Wednesday to get a quote on replacing my roof. He normally uses an online program to estimate the job, but trees were covering the satellite view of my home. He came out the next morning (Thursday) and estimated the job. His estimate of $12,000 was very reasonable, considering the extent of the job. The estimate included materials and labor for 42 squares of shinges, a synthetic underlayment, ice and water shield in the valleys, new flashing and edging all around, and a replacing all the roof vents and up to 2 sheets of plywood. The shingles are Owens-Corning Duration 40-year architectural shingles. The coming weekend was supposed to be rain-free, and I asked if they could start right away. He said he could start at 0830 Sunday morning. I picked the shingle color from a link on his website and printed off the contract he emailed me. He asked for half the fee up front. At 0830 Sunday morning he and his crew showed up at my house in Otis - an hour from his shop in Keizer. I gave Jason a check for half the bid and a signed contract, they climbed up the roof and started tearing it off. Jason estimated they would be done Tuesday evening. In a few hours they had half the roof torn off and had started putting on underlayment and the ice and water shield.. I had to leave on business. When I returned Wednesday afternoon the roof was done. It looks FANTASTIC! New metal edging all along the house, flashing in an area where there had been a leak, no more leaks around my gutters, some rotted fascia replaced and the whole thing cleaned up. Jason had sent me photos of the roof that morning, but in person was better. Jason also told me that an addtional 4 sheets of plywood had to be replaced. He also emailed me an invoice for the remainder of the bill. When it was all said and done there was an additional 1 hour of labor plus 4 sheets of plywood billed - an extra $205. Very reasonable for replacing the plywood, fascia, and a rotted 2x4. The next day his crew showed up again to re-clean. I had thought it was fine, but Jason had seen some things he thought needed cleaned up better. I sent the check for the balance with his crew. I would use Cravenho Construction again without hesitation. From contact to final clean-up was a week and they straight-up did everything they said they would do on time and for the amount we agreed upon. I couldn't be happier with this experience!"

"I DO NOT recommend this company. The technician that came was very nice but it was his first day alone. He did not know how to remove the shower handle and in the process broke the handle and the valve (and also broke the drain when he removed it as well). Water shot out of the broken valve and he then flooded my second story bathroom and the kitchen below. He did not know where the water shut off valve was located. It caused over $5000.00 worth of damage to my house. I understand that accidents happen, but the owner was not at all responsive and actually never came to my house to talk with me or assess the damage but sent his manager instead. He never contacted me I had to contact him, multiple times. He drug his feet on getting insurance involved and over a month later I still have a completely gutted bathroom and a giant hole in my kitchen ceiling. And with all of this trouble and headache and time this accident on their behalf caused me, he wouldn't even offer to do the bathtub resurface for me. He recommended another company. At this point, I do too. Horrible customer service. We had it redone by another company who was quick and fantastic."

Stone restorations & polishings FAQs

Yes, stone restoration can boost your home's value by enhancing its appearance and extending the life of your stone surfaces. Restoring stone is usually more cost-effective than replacing it. New natural stone flooring costs between $6 and $20 per square foot, while new stone countertops range from $10 to $100 per square foot. Since stone is highly durable, repairing and restoring it whenever possible makes practical and financial sense.

Lippage is when one tile's edge extends higher than its neighboring tile, creating an uneven surface on your home’s countertops or floor. Fixing lippage involves grinding down the elevated tile until it's flush with the adjacent tile, improving both safety and appearance. This repair costs between $120 and $500.

Stone surfaces can last from 15 to 100 years before needing restoration. Regular cleaning with pH-neutral solutions, routine vacuuming, and resealing every one to five years help preserve the stone's integrity and beauty. Proactive maintenance extends the life of your stone and enhances your home's value. Your stone restoration pro can give you maintenance tips so you keep your stone looking its best for longer.
