Whereas other companies proposed just filling in wood rot with Bondo, the philosophy at Bear Mountain is that to make a durable repair, the rotten wood should be removed completely and replaced with rot-proof materials (PVC or pressure-treated wood). Having had previous bondo repairs of wood performed by the preceding homeowners fail, we were really impressed with the excellent carpentry work performed by Bear Mountain Custom Paiting. The work crew, led by Higi, was fantastic. Higi was a wonderful communicator, and any issues (like windows painted shut) were immediately rectified. Due to cold weather and rain, the crew couldn't work for several days, and this was always communicated to us in a timely fashion--they then would often bring a larger work crew the next day so as to finish the project on time. We were thrilled with the quality of the final work, as the house looks fantastic and we are confident that it will remain in excellent condition for years! They took care to clean up the site thoroughly at the end of the job, and took extra precautions to make sure that our exterior cameras were fully protected. This is an honest company of exceptional professionalism, and we would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to others."
