Following her bout with Covid, she needed to have her tub removed and have a shower installed. Keith met with us and helped us choose the perfect shower set-up and ensured all safety features were in place. He also agreed to do a last-minute toilet replacement using an ADA model. Overall, we were impressed with Keith and his assistant. His attention to detail and ensuring my mother had exactly what she needed was truly appreciated. "The process went well. The workers explained the amount of work required to get the walls in our older home shimmed to accommodate the required flat surface for the shower surround. Once that process was completed the rest of the work seemed to speed up. They asked specifically where the grab bars needed to be placed. The workers seemed to care a great deal about the outcome of their work and of the comfort for the homeowners during the process. The result is a beautiful upgrade to our existing bathroom. This was the only company of the 3 we talked to who were willing to work on replacing our flooring and toilet installations. Installation process was completed in 4 days."

He removed an old one piece fiberglass shower and installed a beautiful tile shower including tiling the ceiling of the shower and installing a new shower door. "A step n'shower was installed in one 12 hour day. Installers were professional, worked to remove tub and then install an excellent step-in shower. Safety features were a special issue for me at age 82. When a question arose then following day, the installers returned that very day and checked on their work. The slight problem was not due to their installment and they advised me as to the next step. I am thoroughly satisfied."

"Very happy with our renovated bathroom. We had everything replaced: tub/shower, double vanity, toilet, floor, lights, and hardware. They were able to start the work as soon as the materials arrived. Everything went smoothly even with a few changes we requested after the work started. We will use Phelps & Sons Construction again for future projects."

"Prior to project start, the owners were required to visit several locations to select the tile for the shower and tub, tile for the floor, plumbing fixtures including the johns, and granite for the counter tops Work was started on the master bathroom by completely gutting the shower stall. Centennial has craftsmen specializing in certain areas, so the overall quality of work was outstanding. Concrete boards were installed in the shower, then the walls were tiled, the floor tile was laid, the new cabinet installed, the granite countertop installed, all plumbing fixtures installed, the fan/light installed, and the shower door installed. Then the work on the second bathroom was done in much the same manner. Since this bathroom was wall papered, the drywall was ripped out and replaced. Both bathrooms were painted with the owner’s selected color. Finally, workmen installed the owner purchased towel bars, paper holders, medicine cabinets, grab bars, and shower curtain. The carpenter work on the staircase railings and spindles was fantastic. This is quite visible at the home entry door and adds class to the whole house. The whole project was managed by Dave who did a wonderful job supervising the project and keeping us informed when workmen were coming and what they would be doing. At no time during the project did we lack a place to take a shower. The overall price was high and the time to complete the project was too long, but the two bathrooms look absolutely great and we are very pleased with the outcome."
