"He came, assessed the problem quickly. We discussed pricing, I paid and he returned promptly based on the date/date we discussed for the repair. My washer seems to be working great now. "

"We are a property management company with over 300 rentals from Ft. Collins to CO Springs, and I want everyone to know this company is solid and I highly recommend them. Their pricing is fair, their communication is excellent, and they are our go-to appliance repair company from here on out. They didn't ask for that, and they probably don't even know that, but they just simply have earned it by taking care of us and being consistent. We are only as good as the vendors we use and I'm so happy we started using them. Do not hesitate to call them!"

"DO NOT USE THESE CROOKS They up-charged the parts for my refrigerator by OVER $200 and then proceeded to charge $240 dollars in "labor" for 20 minutes of work. This was a fix I had done previously on my refrigerator for about $45 by myself. The job they did for this insane fee was performed because the technician couldn't speak English so he could not explain to me what the problem was, so I went with them on a bit of faith that it was an issue I could not handle. After the job and all this crazy thievery, was when I realized it was something I could have done on my own for HUNDREDS of less dollars. I waited to write this review until the manager called me back, which he did FIVE days after I asked to speak to them and then had to ask again. Please note that they will respond to this negative review below. Whatever they say will be a bold faced lie. Do not use this company, they are liars and cheats."

"Bad on multiple levels - My Mother hired them (I stepped into the situation after they had already arrived) Broken dryer so we decided to replace it with a 2nd (spare) dryer we had at the location. Action Appliance recommended we plug it in first to make sure it worked (smart) We did this, bin turned, but it did not heat up. Action Appliance told us heating element was broken and wasn't worth replacing. We payed him (and scheduled) $95 + $95 = $190 to haul both broken dryers away(they said were going to come pick up later in the day) & put both dryers on the curb. A few minutes after they left, I thought about it / looked & the 2nd dryer was gas - the Action Appliance rep had thought it was electric & when it was plugged in & did not heat up he stated it was broken) Brought the 2nd dryer back inside inside & called them shortly after they had left to cancel pick up for the 2nd. Many phone calls, eventually reached them & they were only willing to refund $20. All around bad experience"

"My chest freezer broke down and I did not want to buy a new one since I could not afford the same size. I reached out to appliance parts pro and they were confident that what I ordered would fix my problem. $200 in parts later and I now have a broken freezer on my porch and am still paying the loan to this terrible company. They just want you to order parts and try them because they know you can't return them. I hate this company with every fiber of my being and will make sure that anyone that has a broken appliance will not use them. To top it off, their site is so screwed up that it give you an error trying to log back in. I ended up having to create THREE different accounts because every time I went to place a new order, it would not let me login and it would not send a password reset email. DON'T GET RIPPED OFF."

FAQs for fridge, freezer or ice maker repair or service projects in Aurora, CO

Most ice makers are similar in design, and some parts are interchangeable. However, if your ice maker has advanced filters or special features, it's best to use the same make and model to ensure everything works properly. Ask your appliance repair pro to check your appliance specifications to be sure.

With regular use and proper maintenance, an ice maker typically lasts about four to five years. If you keep up with tasks like changing the filters every six months, you might get up to 10 years out of your ice maker. Address any problems with your ice maker right away by calling an appliance professional to ensure you solve any issues before they escalate, helping to keep your ice maker running smoothly for longer.

Your refrigerator's age plays a big role in deciding whether to repair or replace the ice maker. If your fridge is nearing the end of its average 14-year lifespan, it might not be worth investing in expensive repairs since other parts could fail soon. Getting a diagnosis from a refrigerator repair pro can help you decide what's best.
