"The job went Extremely Well! Work Performed June 12, 2019 This was my first time looking for a truly real, qualified plumber, because I could no longer trust the work of pseudo plumbers. I had a busted indoor basement pipeline that connected to an outdoor spigot, that caused quite a bit of water damage in my basement, so I needed to find the best plumber, at a reasonable price, and a company that would apply the diagnostic charge to the total charge of the work done. I spent several hours researching plumbing companies, reviewed a great deal of customers’ reviews on each company, and I called a few that had the best reviews. One of my initial calls was to Archer Plumbing Company. The phone was answered promptly by Allan, a very pleasant man (a good sign). I explained what was going on, he asked a few questions, and was able to quote a ballpark figure of what it might cost. I told him I had to make a few more calls before I could decide on a company, but so far, they seemed to be the best, and met all my requirements. In the end, Archer Plumbing was the number one choice by far. I called Allan back and scheduled an appointment. The next day I called and changed the scheduled date to an earlier date, and Allan was very flexible and accommodating. Allan called on June 12, the scheduled date, to let me know that the plumbers were on their way. Chuck and Matthew arrived promptly. I was happy that they had shoe covers (thumbs up), so I didn’t have to offer mine. Chuck was very knowledgeable, proficient and efficient. Both were very polite and pleasant. In addition to replacing the busted pipeline and spigot, they replaced the toilet fill valve and seal in two toilet tanks, and Chuck gave me some general, helpful maintenance tips, as well as addressed a few of my concerns with future plumbing projects. I was very pleased that the cost was within the ballpark figure that Allan had quoted for the busted pipe repair. Needless to say, I highly recommend Archer Plumbing. First impression and experience are lasting! I admire their honesty and integrity. I have already recommended Archer Plumbing to my friends and family. "Zak showed up on time, looked at my to be fixed list and went right to work. He was able to loosen the shut-off valves in both bathroom sinks, so we we didn't have to replace those. (I'm 70 and arthritic, no strength in my hands and wrists.) If the shower regulator goes wonky again, I should be able to fix it myself as Zac showed me how. No charge for that fix. The toilet needed a new flapper-apparently the el crappo one I had used was no good-it was worth the $15 charge to finally not have to turn the water on/off to use the toilet! The cost of the project includes the new faucet which I guess to be $80-100 retail range (a nice Delta basic with sprayer). It was not a simple replumb; there were some challenges getting the old faucet out as parts were rusted and fused. Zac explained everything along the way, took care not to make a big mess and cleaned up after he was done. Took about 3 hours start to finish, including the time Zac took to go purchase the faucet and get the special tools needed to cut apart the old rusted parts. They will be coming back to install some shower rails for us after they get the parts. I will be calling these folks for any more plumbing repairs I need. I was so nice to call and actually talk to a live person and not play phone tag. I called them on a Thursday afternoon and they were here the next Monday morning as promised. This was a non-emergency call. BTW-they do charge $85 for a service call. This was work Plumb Tech originally did in December 2017. I had washed dishes in a dishpan and when I dumped the dishpan, water gushed all over the floor. I called they sent a tech over immediately-here in about 20 minutes. Turns out my old house and somewhat wobbley sink cabinet contribute to loosening the joints. The tech re-attached everything and tightened all the joints as much as possible. Everything is now working fine again. Done at no additional charge to me. I really need to have new cabinets installed so the sink will not move even a little, but the house is not worth that expense at this point. (We will be investigating some way of stabilizing things.) I really appreciate the fast response and not being charged."

"Jason's crew patched small holes, d**** and damage from nail pops and twenty years of kids wear-and-tear. Painted the ceilings, walls and trim in each bedroom and the hallway. Looks fantastic! They additionally painted the exterior trim and ceiling of our porch. Crisp and clean. As with any job, there were a few small things we noticed afterward, but they came back promptly for touch-up, and made everything look great! Jason and his crew were very polite and personable. We'll be happy to hire them in the future for additional jobs."

"Workers showed up half hour early which is good by me. They cleaned out all 3 sections of system without being told to. Kind of surprised to be charged $100 extra to do gravel filter but I am glad it is all done for this year."

The system they have is very thorough, and I love that they wrap the walls, and install a ventilation system. They were in and out, it was pretty straight-forward, and they did what they said they were going to do. He was very helpful in assisting me to find the right materials and has fair pricing. We scheduled to start the project the following week and they showed up on time, and completed within the expected time frame. Not to mention, as a nightshift nurse, they had my complete trust as I had to sleep during the day and leave in the afternoon for work, cleaning and locking up when they left for the day. "Don't let the name fool you: Mr. Damer does much more than excavation. I'm a single mom and I have an older house that's not a fixer-upper but has come up on generational updates/maintenance. I'm on a budget and can pay, but not pay twice if it's done wrong. Mr. Damer cut down and removed a very large dead tree in my yard and clear about 30 x 8' of dense shrubbery, then regraded and seeded it, and finally chainlink fenced it increasing immensely, the utility of my yard for the kids. As a USMC veteran Mr. Damer is disciplined and efficient and respectful of a family environment - a throwback to an older generation. In the house Mr. Damer has helped to begin electrical updates/upgrades installing new work lights in my basement, an oven hood and ceiling fixtures. I would highly recommend Mr.Damer to people I consider good friends!"

"Handyman Matters did a great job of repairing very large hole in finished basement drywall including painting to match existing color.  Also installed vanity / sink / light fixture / mirror / baseboard / towel racks in bathroom plus painting the room.  Looks great, price was reasonable, and quality of work was very high.  The company was very efficient in producing quotes and meeting the promised schedule.
