"After the holidays our water wasn't draining like it should and over the coarse of a few days we started having back flow problems into our shower. We have always had a handyman in the family until recently. So I always had someone to call who I trusted, but this time I didn't. I have always been worried that we would be financially taken advantage of. So I started doing my research and found Neighbor Hood Plummer called and was scheduled for an appointment almost a week later. Some coworkers of mine told me to find someone else who could come sooner, but with the ratings they had, I knew I could trust them. Once he came to our house to inspect our situation he gave us the bad news. Our main drain pipe had broken off where it bends to meet the underground pipe. The pipes that were connecting the broken pipe to the underground pipe were the wrong angle. The home builder used two 45 degree pipes making an S shape which was partly buried under ground under the house. He explained to me that it needed to slope down because you could not snake the pipe the full distance from either side of the overflow. And it needed to be dug up and replaced with the appropriate pipes, then the drain pipe would be repaired. But first they would have to clean up the sewage under the house. And when he finished he would spread lime to kill the smell. He was very clear and made sure I understood exactly what the problem was and took pictures to show me. He said it would take anywhere from a half a day to a full days work. When they came back to do the job, it took him only 4 hours and that included the time at the hardware store. I was impressed at the speed, the knowledge, and the professionalism of this company. And highly recommend them to anyone. They are now my plummer on hand!"

The job was done quickly, and he was super polite the whole time. Because of his work ethic we had him repaint the front door, then we had him repaint our deck. To respect the time it takes to provide a proper estimate, Lewis & Company requires a small service charge for a formal estimate. Once the job started, it was completed on fast and on schedule. I was super happy with the work they provided and so relieved to have found a company I could trust in home remodels or builds."

"I own the rental house where this work was accomplished, but live out of state.  It's difficult to keep everything working when you are not in the area.  I contacted Jeff Reed of Sherwood Home Improvement and gave him a brief rundown on what I thought was wrong with the kitchen floor (leaking refrigerator from prior tenant had gotten under flooring and softened the floor in two areas).  Following the repairs, I also wanted new flooring placed in kitchen and pantry area.  Also, I needed several faucets replaced and a board replaced on outside of house (squirrel damage).   Jeff contacted tenant and arranged to take a look at all the problems I described.  He gave me an estimate for repair that I thought was very reasonable.   After completion of the floor repairs, I contacted my tenant who is a lovely elderly woman and she was very very impressed with the work Jeff did, and also the courtesy he displayed during the entire time he was in her home.   WOULD I USE JEFF AGAIN - I ALREADY HAVE.   I will report on that job as soon as it is complete."
