"Disappointed with service, but looks ok.  Completed job in time noted.  When I spoke to gentleman for a quote, John, stated they would evaluate base material then determine if gravel would be needed.  Apparently it didn't in their opinion.  However, what I saw was a lot of sand and round stones as an old base that to me should have been removed/replaced.  It tracked in my garage and house for about four weeks.  Two neighbors using different contractors right now have had old asphalt removed and gravel bases put down. <br>  I think it was a very poor choice to not lay gravel down and probably an expense I paid for, but didn't receive.  Also, I found that a shrub next to the driveway was burnt, don't know if it will survive.   <br>  This contractor also removed a pay loader bucket of lawn on the left side of the driveway for water drainage purposes and left it just a dirt spot.  I had to call John and inquire about it.  He said they don't do landscaping, but would deliver some topsoil and seed.  I got the topsoil.  "

From the first meeting, Dave took on the full project management role and exceeded expectations in the ahead of time project completion and quality of work. After contracting them to do the job, we were away for several weeks and thru text and photo status of projects and calls on any questions regarding tbe project - he got it done and done ahead of schedule. Key is to clearly spell out and visualize mark 1. Total patio space and put markers in corners of entire location 2. Agree on pavers from the start 3. Agree on time the project must be completed by 4. Get total cost upfront and payment schedule. If you will be away, make clear arrangements for 3 phase payment. 5. Calls - Make sure you answer Dave's call when he calls you. He will not waste your time but you will waste him if you dont answer his questions asap."

"I could not be happier with my choice. Shawn was professional, friendly, and knowlegable from first contact. He was not the cheapest nor the most expensive estimate I received to complete the work. His quote included more than the cheaper and more expensive estimates I had received. Once hired he began immediately and removed the trees from the house in the first day. It took a little time to complete the job but his concern was the ruin of a lawn in pristine condition. He waited for the ground to dry before starting the portion of the work that required heavy equipment. The lot is also on a very steep downward angle . I feel that he completed the job in a timely manner considering that the weather continued to work against him. Upon finishing he left the property in excellent condition. He removed the 7 foot diameter root ball as well so one would never know the wreck it all had been . The only tell tale sign is where he graded, seeded, and fertilized the portion on the yard where the trees had fallen and gouged the ground."
