In my case, it was clear at the time of his initial inspection that parts of my door need to be replaced along with springs, which he had to order and which would take several days to arrive. But it was unclear whether the door opener needed to be replaced as well... this could only be determined once the other parts of the door were installed and working properly. So I ordered the opener and had it on hand just in case. We were both pleasantly surprised to learn, once he returned and installed the other parts, that the door opener was still fine - no need to replace. Joe could have easily told me that the opener needed to be replaced and kept a couple hundred additional dollars. But he was honest, he did what was right, and he saved me the unnecessary expense. I recommend calling him if you want extremely capable service and a straight and honest shooter."
