"We own a cottage in OBX but live in Virginia and were looking for someone in the area that would not try to scam me (as I found a few of those). I found Jason at Reigle Contracting and I am glad I did. We had our decks, windows/doors, and siding replaced on our cottage in Kitty Hawk. They were amazing to work with and were top notch. The decks are very sturdy and built with safety and style in mind. The windows/doors turned out better than we thought they would. The siding is beautiful. Along the way, Jason would let me know what issues he had and would call me to make sure I was informed of what he found and offered the proper way to fix it. We found we had a roof leak in several places and he took care of this for us. This outside of the original scope of work. He really does take care of his customers. The before and after photos are amazing! It looks like a totally different cottage! I wish he could come do some work on our home in Virginia! We love it and would definitely use and recommend Reigle Contracting again."

"After the repair was done I noticed a leak in my bathroom ceiling where one of the roof vents were replaced. I called the Subcontractor Brian on a Saturday morning. The weather was cold and raining. He was at my house within the hour up on the roof and fixed the leak. I havent had any leaks since. I would hire Brain the Subcontractor again."

My windows were in pretty bad shape. They really took their time and prepped them very well which showed in the finished product. When asked to redo or touch up anything it was done without question. "the work was started a few days after the contract was agreed too and signed. Work progressed fairly rapidly until we got into a period of wet weather which slowed the work down but persistence paid off and it was finally completed about on the schedule if you consider the rain days.
The work looked good, the doors were installed perfectly, the old electrical cover plates were replaced.  We particularly like the way the outdoor lights, outlet, power meter etc. were mounted to the house and trimmed out.   
overall we were very happy with the work and will use American Home Improvements and Remodeling again.
