"I called them they came out within the hour replaced my leaking water heater with a new one and did a great job even cleaned up the mess my leaking water heater made. I could not have used a more professional company. And I'm not the only one who thinks that they have nothing but great reviews that is why I chose them! <br />"

"After a couple of bad experiences with other companies, Greg White Plumbing has been our trusted go to plumber for all plumbing work. We have never been disappointed in his response, quality and pricing. Greg and his team have completed many projects for us, both large and small over the years. I cannot recommend Greg more highly and if you need a plumber then look no further than Greg White."

"Brad is a true professional. The job was done very, very well. Cleanup was as good as I have ever experienced. Everything was done as agreed at the prices we agreed. He does much more than decks and I would not hesitate to hire again for any repair or remodel."

"My wife and I had been contemplating on a bathroom remodel for quite some time; however, my wife has issues with making decisions that involve substantial amounts of money, aka, pulling the trigger. Thus, I do not have that problem. Me and my wife had two bids for my bathroom remodel. Needless to say, the first bid did not get the job (A well-known bathroom remodel contractor). The second bid did (Brytons). Plus, I went with a well-known contractor because if the job was not performed to my standards, there would be repercussions. The bids were nearly identical, but Connie (Brytons' representative), put me over the edge. She spent several hours explaining everything, and showing us various samples. Plus, I could tell she enjoys her job. And as for the installer/carpenter/plumber, Brad, he was exemplary. I do not believe Brytons could have found a better person to showcase their company’s vision, as to what a customer desires. And on top of that, he was professional and courteous the whole time he was here. As a matter of fact, he treated my house as if he lived here, too. To tell you the truth, my bathroom looks like it just came from Brytons' showroom. This is a good thing."

"It went very well. After a bit of a wait, I received a very comprehensive report of 88 specific items as well as bacteria, fungi and particles. Each Item detected over the EPA drinking water limits had an explanation sheet. Also provided was a contact person at the company to address any questions you had about the report findings. I thought the service was well worth the $300 just for the peace of mind. I intend to use the company on an annual basis going forward."

FAQs for plumbing installation for a remodel or addition projects in Aydlett, NC

Adding bathroom plumbing to a detached garage starts with the basic line installation cost of $900 to $1,300. On top of this base expense, you'll need to budget for each fixture. A toilet costs  $250 to $550, sinks cost $150 to $800, and a shower or bathtub costs $400 to $1,900. The project will also require ventilation, moisture-resistant materials, and possibly electrical work. Remember that these costs reflect only the plumbing aspects—additional construction, finishing, and permitting expenses will apply to complete a functional bathroom space.

While certain aspects of garage renovation might be suitable for DIY enthusiasts, plumbing installation requires professional expertise. Connecting to water and sewer systems demands specialized knowledge and equipment, and improper installation can result in severe water damage, code violations, and potential health hazards. Most municipalities require permits for plumbing modifications, and these often stipulate that licensed professionals must perform work. Consider limiting your involvement to simpler tasks like painting or basic finishing work.

The timeframe for adding plumbing to a detached garage spans one to three days for the actual plumbing work. However, this represents only the active installation period. The complete project timeline must account for planning, obtaining permits (which can take weeks depending on your locality), coordinating multiple contractors if needed, and addressing any unexpected challenges that arise during installation. Weather conditions can also impact excavation and outdoor connection work.

Adding plumbing to a detached garage will likely increase your property taxes. Tax assessors consider plumbing an improvement that enhances property value and functionality. The specific tax impact varies by location and project scope. Converting a garage into living space with plumbing facilities can trigger significant reassessment in many jurisdictions. Before proceeding with your project, consult your local tax assessor's office to understand the potential tax implications and factor this ongoing expense into your decision-making process.
