Alan also helped me out by cutting and inserting portions of baseboard that were missing â a nice surprise since I didnâ t think I would be able to do it and it wasnâ t in his scope of work. When I decided to replace my original front door with an updated mid-century upgrade I knew it would require a new frame, sill, trim, and weather-stripping in addition to the door itself. As a board member in my Queen Anne Condo association I wanted the work to be competent, quick and disturb as few neighbors as possible. DP Palmer did not disappoint, once again! With their expert guidance I chose fiberglass over a wood door for durability, sound proofing and general appearance. The door arrived painted, and work was completed within one long day. Removal and disposal of the old door, preparation and installation of the new door including framing,hardware and keyless touch pad. All trim work on the inside and outside of the door was installed and painted and the crew left at the end of the day leaving me with a fabulous, professional installation.
