"Went great. One of the reasons we hired Method Finish Carpentry was the amount of time giving advice Jared gave us before we even hired hiim. While having a new floor installed, we discovered some water damage to the subfloor in the entry way. We looked for contractors on Angie's List and saw Method Finish Carpentry got good marks. I called, left a message, and then shortly thereafter got a call back from Jared. He explained what we he thought was going on and what we needed to do even though he was too busy to help us right away. We delayed finishing the floor so we could get the problem fixed. Ultimately we decided to have a new door installed. We chose Jared because he seemed to approach the leaking water problem holistically as opposed to someone like Washington Energy Services who were just going to do a cookie cutter installation. We had to wait a bit for Jared to get us on his calendar but once we were he was prompt and reliable. Once the door was installed he followed up after two big storms and tweaked it a bit to make sure it was not leaking. Jared is an interesting person, very easygoing, committed to making sure were satisfied, and just a pleasure to work with. We were very happy with the project and will gladly hire Method Finish Carpentry for future work around the house.

I found Integrity Stonework here on Angie?s List and got bids from Mike Cooper as well as several other highly-rated vendors.  Not only was Integrity?s price the lowest, he was far and away the most responsive to deal with.  I really appreciated that I didn?t have to pay until the work was finished to my satisfaction.  Other companies wanted full payment upon bid signing!  Mike and his crew did an awesome job on my kitchen countertops.  The seams are amazing ? even though I knew exactly where they were I had to search for them.  There wasn?t a single scratch on my new cabinets either.  They did a really nice job protecting my new floors and keeping the dust to a minimum.  I am very impressed with the work and will definitely get a bid from Integrity when I am ready to install a couple of new countertops in the lower level of my house.

"moutRussell is the most professional carpenter I've ever worked with, hands down. I'm an attorney, and would say he has a far higher standard of professionalism than 90% of my colleagues. Russell is trustworthy and terrific to work with.
I was bid a "not to exceed" rate for a very complicated carpentry trim job in our kitchen. Russell estimated it would take 40 hours and we agreed he would bill hourly, but not to exceed 40 hours. He ended up spending an extra two solid days on the project and never even hinted at being miffed at the extra unpaid work.. He delivered exactly what he said he would, even though it took almost a third more time than he'd anticipated.
Call Russell. He has a wide range of skills (used to be a captain of a salmon fishing vessel). Be warned however: I was "trapped" more than once by Russell, who had fascinating stories about Alaska and mountaineering while I should have been heading to work :-)
