"I asked Jim at Home & Garden Art to fabricate 4 small sections of handrail out of iron that I would use around the 4 corners of my sunken living room. I wanted a 3D flower design done in the center to make it unique and provide a little rustic contrast to a fairly formal space. Jim caught on to what I was looking for very quickly and sketched out something on a sticky note that I thought would look great. After we agreed on the price he committed to getting them done about 3 weeks from that point. <br /> Jim began work on it within a couple days and called with some ideas to improve on the original design. I liked his suggestions and asked him to make the changes. To my surprise they called me a week early to tell me the work was done and ready to pick-up. My wife and I went to pick them up that day and can't say enough about how happy we are with the workmanship. They paid close attention to the details and really made the flowers look incredible. The fabrication and welding work is impeccable and worth every penny. <br /> The guys at Home & Garden Art are super friendly, easy to work with and real artists. I intend to use them again in the future and will recommend them to anyone looking for that kind of work. <br /> <br />"

"After getting 3 bids, I decided to hire Coatney Fence for my fence project. Dennis Coatney was wonderful to work with. He is knowledgeable, showed up promptly and consistently responded with answers to my many questions. I had approximately 200 feet of 6 foot cedar fence replaced including a 10 foot double gate and a walk gate. Dennis and his crew took down the old fence and set new posts on day 1 and then returned on day 4 (allowing 2 days for the concrete to set) to complete construction of the new fence and gates. He and his crew were a delight to work with--polite and left the job site in better shape than they found it in. I am exceptionally pleased with the quality of the work and materials used for my project. I highly recommend Coatney fence."

"Went great. One of the reasons we hired Method Finish Carpentry was the amount of time giving advice Jared gave us before we even hired hiim. While having a new floor installed, we discovered some water damage to the subfloor in the entry way. We looked for contractors on Angie's List and saw Method Finish Carpentry got good marks. I called, left a message, and then shortly thereafter got a call back from Jared. He explained what we he thought was going on and what we needed to do even though he was too busy to help us right away. We delayed finishing the floor so we could get the problem fixed. Ultimately we decided to have a new door installed. We chose Jared because he seemed to approach the leaking water problem holistically as opposed to someone like Washington Energy Services who were just going to do a cookie cutter installation. We had to wait a bit for Jared to get us on his calendar but once we were he was prompt and reliable. Once the door was installed he followed up after two big storms and tweaked it a bit to make sure it was not leaking. Jared is an interesting person, very easygoing, committed to making sure were satisfied, and just a pleasure to work with. We were very happy with the project and will gladly hire Method Finish Carpentry for future work around the house. <br />"

"In reading the review from "DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY" I would like to set the record straight... since I am the neighbor who hired Economy Fence to install fencing between us and the neighbor who wrote "do not use". <br /> There is a process that is followed when determining where to install a fence. It entails marking utilities by painting lines on the ground and also showing where it might be appropriate to install a fence between 2 properties. We reviewed the lines the day following the marking process (no need to trek out in the dark with flashlights). We did not think the lines drawn were the best location and notified both the neighbors and the company. By then, the neighbors had already called Economy Fence and threatened to sue them. <br /> We renegotiated the line location (NBD) with the neighbor present and the company representative present and ALL agreed on the new placement. The neighbors also added a section of fence for themselves on their own property. At no time was access to their property ever to be blocked to their yard. We also agreed to remove a section of fence that came too close to their house. They were completely rude and threatening to Economy Fence before and after any mutual agreement to proceed was made and fencing took place. <br /> Threatening a law suit is a very aggressive posture for a preliminary drawing of lines!  The only bill they paid was for their own small section of fence on their own property. They refused to pay for their half of the fence which they agreed to (talk about ethical behavior), that is why the company continued to ask for payment. <br /> The fence looks great and there was no trash left or trees cut. No trees were involved. My hat is off to Gary, the rep, for having to deal with these people who have so wrongly slandered Economy Fence. In what universe do neighbors behave like this? <br /> I would definitely recommend Economy Fence to anyone or use them again in the future. <br />"
