"Very well. Clean job site at the end of each day, always early and great communication. He also installed new hardware in my tub that the plumber had been unable to complete as there was no access from outside. He also repaired a dry rot corner of my house. I highly recommend him."

"United Freight did a great job and were timely and even ahead of schedule. There was a Tropical storm tracking for VA, and they got the car accross country and off the truck and to me in time to beat the rain. They were also good with communucation the whole way."

"Garry called me and requested to come over to see the scope of the work. He showed up right on time for the appointment and after I showed him the broken pocket door and explaining that I wanted all the hardware to be replaced including the top track. He wanted to make sure about the quality of the top track I like him to buy, so gave him my specification that is to get an aluminium track and 3 wheel rollers, I was tired of spending money to repair every year. He called me the night before to make sure I will be home. He showed up on time to start the work. I told him here you are, I will be in my home office, when done just call me. So, took a little longer that I expected it, because of wall sheathing being plaster board, but when he called me and went to see the completed project, to my surprise, he had completed the job and just about ready to paint the access opening of the wall - which you need to open to replace the track. He charged me exactly what we verbally agreed and I was very happy that after so many years of search and work with so many handyman, I finally found a professional and honest person who respected the verbal contract and did not charge me more for the extra unexpected site issues. Garry has very good communication skills and keeps you updated with the schedules and appointments via cell phone. I will recommend him to anyone for a small or medium projects. All I can say "what a guy.""

"<p>We have had the pleasure of working with Randy Floyd on two remodeling jobs.  The first one was in 2009 and included completely remodeling the kitchen, bathroom, painting, flooring and ceilings. Throughout subsequent years, we continued to enjoy and receive compliments on the amazing transformation of our home.  Recently, we sold that house, and were able to make a good profit; most of it based on the remodel.</p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <p>For the past few months, Randy has been working on remodeling our current house.  This house required one who is creative, as well as skilled in all aspects of remodeling. Tasks included (but were certainly not limited to) the demolition of an interior wall, transforming the fireplace from pseudo rock to slate rock, building a mantel, remodeling the kitchen, and painting the interior. During the course of the renovation, Randy was a consummate professional. He has an extremely strong work ethic and is a perfectionist.</p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <p>Randy went over and above what was required to turn this into a lovely home. His organizational skills are superb. He was 100% on time and always tidied up at the end of the day. His excellent management of any subcontractors was quite evident, as all was done in a timely manner. </p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <p>Along with his superb craftsmanship, Randy has a creative mind. This enabled us to make suggestions, but we also welcomed his recommendations, which were spot on.  We were not yet in the home the majority of the time Randy worked, but had complete trust that he was on the job and taking care of business.  Once we moved in, there were some things that still needed his attention.  He continued to follow through and completed the work.  As a result, we were again pleased with his work and would recommend him for any job, large or small.  </p>"

"The worker was to come on Saturday. He called 30 minutes prior to the appointment and said he was not coming due to car trouble. We rescheduled for Monday at 10. I called the office at 10:15 and was told the worker was doing another job and was told details of the other job. I stated that his appointment was with me at 10. The person at the office (I assume it was the owner of the business, told me he would have to come and do it himself if the worker could not get to my house between 2 and 3.) The worker came at 3:15. He looked at the attic opening and explained why he could not enlarge it, due to beams and pipes near it. I understood, and he was asked to repair 2 broken roof beams, which he did. It took 1 1/2 hours. I supplied the wood, the ladder, the screws, a hammer, and an extra drill to make pilot holes, and a high powered work light to light up the attic. He had brought a drill, a hand-held saw, and a few screws. So this "deal" of $99 for 2 hours labor, really did mean labor only. He attached 2 X 4s to the broken beams, but in the process, some small support wood, maybe 15 inch pieces, were damaged. I did not request their replacement, as I did not have that size pre-cut wood laying around, and it was not offered. I was given no tips or advice as to anything else that could be done to support the attic structure, and I feel that a professional carpenter would have offered some advice. I have other jobs to be done around the house, but nothing about the company was stated, I was given no paperwork whatsoever. I do not feel that it was very professional, and I could have gotten a general handyman off the street for less money."

"It was our garbage disposal that was leaking, and it rotted the floor of the cabinet. Matt replaced the floor in the cabinet and painted and waterproofed. He was reliable and offered suggestions but wasn't forecful or pushy. He'll do whatever you ask, as the customer you make the final decision. He does inspections to give you an estimate of cost up front. He is also easygoing and trustworthy."

"Mike is a careful craftsman who take great pride in the quality of his work. He is dissatisfied with anything less than perfection. The tile floor project was particularly difficult because we had removed the prior terrazzo floor, which left a very uneven surface. The tile we selected did not have a beveled edge, so it had to be laid perfectly flat. In addition, we had an elevation change between the kitchen and entryway that Mike had to adjust for. He did a beautiful job. The largest project was the carport/garage conversion, and it was beautifully done. Again, we had a sloping surface where the "man" door was installed, and Mike adjusted the threshold perfectly. He is an expert with doors. We appreciate Mike's craftsmanship, creativity, and problem-solving skills. We obtain two other estimates for the carport/garage conversion component of this project, and Mike's was the best price, too. **I do not know why Angie's List placed my review under "Roofing." This provider did not do roofing for us, but I don't see where I can change that designation.** <br />"
