Get matched with top cabinets refinish pros in Baldwin Park, CA

"We recently had our kitchen cabinets, which were installed nearly 30 years ago, restained and refinished by Cabinet Refresh. They had yellowed and could no longer be cleaned. The men were very easy to work with and tried hard to come up with a new stain that we would be happy with. They arrived on time each morning and the job was done in the 5 days we were promised. We have several other rooms that need to be redone also, and we wouldn’t hesitate to use them for those projects."

"Ulisses was professional, friendly and answered all my questions before the work started. I had old cabinets and he did a good job fixing it and touching them up. Despite the late afternoon start, he didn't rush it and stayed until he felt it was done right."

"wanted sell new cabinets not refinish"

"Choosing Custom Wood Finishing and Painting was one of the best decisions we made in our home renovation process. Justin and Jensen went above and beyond for us. Our kitchen cabinets turned out so much better than I ever anticipated. We hired them to repaint our existing cabinets, and they absolutely came through. The color that we discussed came out perfectly. We also discussed paint grade finish, and they delivered. The first time we met them in person, they came over to our house for an hour. They listened to what we wanted, offered helpful suggestions, and explained how they would give us what we wanted. They were extremely patient with us, as we changed our minds a few times on the color. They were always available via phone or in person, and explained each bit of the process every step of the way. Jensen's finishing work and her attention to detail are exceptional. She works quickly, cleanly, and efficiently. I couldn't be happier with my cabinets, it was worth every penny. Justin and Jensen are incredibly talented and know exactly what they are doing. They have extensive experience. There is nothing they haven't seen, and no problem or challenge they haven't already dealt with. They treated us like friends. Their work is flawless and they stand by their word. I trust them, and I would tell anybody I know to use them, and only them."

Hello clients! I am a extremely hard-working and efficient master painter with 13 years experience working on high-end homes. My work comes with a 3-year warranty for exterior and interior on homes and business. That comes with the contract. I prioritize cleanliness and prep work before I even start the painting aspect. I am also great at stucco, carpentry and plaster/drywall so I can fix anything that needs to be worked on before the paint is applied. Anyone can make the paint look good for a month, but it takes plenty of prep work and cleanliness to make your home or business last years. I mainly use quality Sherwin Williams paints as i think they are of the same quality as Benjamin Moore. Since i am solo worker, my overhead isnt too expensive so i can keep it at a fair price\n

"Richard and his crew refinished my expensive maple cabinets to their original luster when the other contractors said theyâ d have to paint them. I canâ t say enough good things about them. Great job!"

"Everyone was lovely to work with.  All the crews who came to the house were very nice.  The end results were also lovely for the most part.  The cabinets are beautiful, but we do have some chipping of paint on the cabinets already which is disappointing since they are only a few months old.  The fireplace looks great.  The new windows are great.  We did have some leaking the first time it rained but they came back and caulked to fix that problem and also sanded and painted some of the damage to the cabinets.  We were very pleased with their prompt response to that issue.
As I said, they were lovely to work with, but communication was a challenge.  I wasn't clear on who my point of contact was supposed to be so I felt like I was bugging Vicky but I wasn't sure if that was part of her job.  I had to call a lot to find out when things were going to be completed.  I had to really stay on top of what still needed to be done and remind them.  We ran into a couple miscommunications. For example, we assumed that they would reinstall the appliances they pulled out of the kitchen as part of the scope of work but that was extra.  We also asked for a final walk through to go over the work done.  There were a lot of little issues that made the project look unfinished or unpolished.  Most of those were fixed in that final walk through.
Overall I would recommend them but I would encourage customers to be super specific in the initial contract and plan to be a project manager throughout the process.  I would also ask for a final walk through to have them correct anything that doesn't look right.
