"Ralph Bertrand from Home Genius Exteriors came out to thoroughly examine our roof. Ralph showed us many photos & a video of our roof, outside & inside. Ralph took the time to answer any questions we had. He explained the various products used & levels of warranty available. We really appreciated the time Ralph spent explaining everything to us, all without pressure to buy. The day of install arrived & the team was on time & ready to work! One thing we liked was that there was someone there from Home Genius Exteriors during the whole time of install. Richard Bowan, the Install Manager, was there to oversee everything & he did an amazing job. They placed large tarps over all our landscaping & got right to work. Rich kept us updated on progress throughout the day & answered any questions we had. In addition to the new roof, we also had new gutters with leaf guards & downspouts installed. When the work was completed, we walked around the house with Rich. Everything was completely cleaned up; there was nothing left behind or out of place. Our home looks amazing. The new roof, gutters & downspouts really look beautiful. We loved our experience with Home Genius Exteriors, especially working with both Ralph & Rich. They were so professional & knowledgeable. Previous to using Home Advisor and Gallop, I had called a number of other companies in the area but was dumped right into voicemail. I left messages and only one company even bother to call me back. I will call Gallop again myself if I need any future work done."

"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"I was quite pleased with the outcome.  The job did not start or end on schedule as the spring storms pushed other jobs out, however Mike did send one of his crew down to get started at the end of the original start week and he managed the weather effectively. We agreed at the outset that the drop dead date for completion was mid-May and that time frame was met.  He wasn't the cheapest and that isn't my main criteria for selecting a partner.
The quality of the job was very good upon completion but the real test will be 6 months to a year from now.  I believe Mike will stand behind any issues that surface as he was very proactive throughout the process.  He was very helpful in pointing out areas needing attention in another job which was being conducted and offering assistance when possible. 
With work interrupted several times by prolonged periods of rain, they made sure that the equipment was stowed or immobilized each day so that I did have an eye sore to stare at until they returned.  Communication was good throughout the process via text so I knew when the wind was going to lay down enough for them to get up on the ladders.
More importantly, Mike was positive in his approach and attitude, it was a pleasure to deal with him.  At the end of the day, the variability of the work by any of the companies would likely have been pretty close, but I enjoyed working with Mike, he made me laugh, helped me consider other options and set my mind at ease that I wouldn't be repeating this exercise in 3 years.  And if I am - then his company will be around and assist in mitigating the problem."

"Edwin and his installation team did a fantastic job. They were friendly and professional, cleaned up everything, and took pride in their work. Our 40 year old windows have now been replaced with new, high quality windows. From the initial sale to measuring to installation, everything in the process was a great experience!"

"Mr. Hargrove was very responsive and professional.  We contacted 2 other companies and never really got any response from either of them.  Mr. Hargrove was on time for every meeting or contact, and never failed to return calls promptly.  We agreed to pay half up front, and when we accidentally mis-dated the check, he drove about 45 minutes to meet us halfway to get him a new one, which he then used to buy the materials.  During the second day of work on the roof, rain interrupted progress, and they covered up what was unfinished, to resume the following day, when they finished.  They did a pretty good job of cleanup, which was made much more difficult by the amount of leaves that had fallen around the house - it would have been very hard to find the small fragments of shingles and nails all those leaves.  I later was able to blow both the small scraps along with the leaves out of the plant beds and into the woods.  I did find a few nails, but again it was nearly impossible to find them until the leaves were blown away.  The work crew was polite and professional.  I felt the price was a little higher than expected, but we did use high-grade stain-resistant shingles, and overall I felt the value received was good.  The new roof has yet to experience rain, but it looks tight and solid and I do not anticipate any leaks.  The shingles look good and are noticeably higher quality than the ones we replaced.  Mr. Hargrove pointed out to me several places where they had applied extra sealant to ensure that vent joints and other potential sources of leaks were well-sealed and should not cause problems.
