"C2 Moving did a great job! They took the time to wrap all of our furniture in blankets and plastic wrap to ensure nothing was damaged or broken -- and everything arrived in perfect shape!! Definitely a professional moving service, and for the price I got on Angie's list (~$400 cheaper than going outside of Angie's List) it just cannot be beat. My only complaint is that we had our move scheduled for the morning, and about 30 minutes before the crew was supposed to show up I got a call saying that our team had called out or something. "Try buying an automobile on the internet 1300 miles away and then after the purchase find someone to transport it at a good price. It is scary. Jim took the fear out by first  explaning how the transport world work to me.  Then he promised to stay close in contact through the whole process. He did all that and more. This was my first time transporting a vehicle. There were a lot of companies out there and some you can weed out right away but who can you trust. I actually flew to Florida to interview in person two companies. My trip was a quick turn (I flew in and flew out the same day) my flight was delayed and my car rental reservation was not the smoothest and I lost a lot of time and could not travel to meet anyone. i done my home work and Mercury Auto Transport have a lot of outstanding people working there. So I rated them all on the the transport review site and found that Jim had the top reviews for 2012. Couple that with Angies List he was my best choice. I talked to him on the phone and let him know that I was in town but waon't be able to come see him.  I  asked him to help me transport a vehicle. He set me up with an outstanding company VL Transport. Hernando was the driver and he called me 2 days before the pickup. I am in San Antonio, but Jim coordinated with the dealer sales person Steve who inspected the vehicle with the driver and got it loaded on the truck. The date was March 31st 2012. Hernando call me and told me that it is loaded and that he will either be in San Antonio, Tx.  late Monday night the 2nd of April or early Tuesday morning. The driver called me at 12:41 Central on Monday and told me he was in Houston and should be to San Antonio in five hours. At 6pm on Monday the 2nd of April the big rig was in front of my home. The driver unloaded the vehicle and drove into my driveway. How is that for door to door service. Thank you Jim.

"These guys are amazing! I used other movers before and wasn't pleased, so after some shopping around I found USL on the DOT website when looking for movers and decide to give them a call. John got my a quote of $3,200 to take us from Denver, to Ashburn, VA. The movers came on time and made sure that everything was wrapped up in moving pads and wrap and made me feel very confident about it making there. Overall my move was a smooth one and I will refer them to others looking for movers."

"We received many estimates on a very small move that we had from MS to CT. I was "warned" about all the brokers, etc., I read many reviews, some good, some bad on Protected Van Lines. However, I can say our move was handled professionally and without any issues. The trucking firm was State to State Move and they handled everything as if it were our most prized possession. Krista was outstanding, she kept us up to date on where they were in the move since we were having to coordinate with someone else on the CT end.The only thing that came up was on the delivery end in CT, the street was too narrow for the moving van to get to the house. A shuttle was required and it did cost a little more than the estimate; however, it's was there in black in white that additional cost would be incurred if a shuttle was required. If I have another move for any distance I would definitely contact Protected Van Lines"
